I thought when GW in use outside Firewall, it no longer records the Client IP address in the MFT Server's logs?
-
Can you clarify which flavour of Linux you are using, it seems to have deployed an incomplete PostgresSQL 13 Database engine
-
I assume you are not using the Serv-U Gateway as the IP address does not get passed back to the Serv-U Server Logs or are you pulling Logs from that as well?
-
Also make sure 33 messages is what you are expecting, if you re-authozise as an Azure Admin it will check the mailbox associated with that login and not your WHD Mailbox!
-
Check within the Ticket History to see why WHD has decided to assign it, the Right Arrow Icon with the Man by it.
-
Would depend on the settings within Tech Group > Tech Groups Levels Tab > Level 1 > "Auto-Assign Tickets To" Also are Techs A, B & C ticked as Level Techs within that Group Level?
-
What version of WHD are you installing and onto which sort of Server? Additionally are you using the internal PostgreSQL Database or an external one you have created yourself?
-
Might need to add IP address as whitelisted on your SMTP on the Office365 Admin Portal 5.7.57 SMTP; 530 5.7.57 Client not authenticated to send mail
-
Have you tried an Action Rule to call the Assignment engine again?
-
If you were using IE that does have issues but that is not supported by MS any more anyhow.
-
Yes that is one of the minor issues been identified and reported by us already. Attachments will have to go out to End Users via Mail for now until a fix is available.
-
Just we have plenty of customers who have. There are a couple of small issues but nothing major.
-
I would check with Support on this, although they shy away from API questions they should be able to escalate to someone who should know either way.
-
Dashboards run from Saved Ticket Queries so if you have a saved query which shows Problems only with a Specific status they can be shown, they are only totals though, you would need to drilldown to see individual Problem details.
-
Correct, nothing has changed in this area.
-
The important thing here is "No Tech Group" this option might not apply, usually a Ticket is linked to a Tech Group through the Request Type. Check Setup > Techs > Tech Groups > find the Tech Group linked to the Request Type in question > Expand the select the Tech Groups Levels Tab (middle one) > select Level 1 (you may…

What E-Mail provider are you using, sounds like the SMTP Authentication password you are using is expired.
-
I had installed on an old test Windows 2008 R2 machine so they would not help me. I suggest you log with Support and I would appreciate feedback if they can resolve for you as I still see the same on this test Server.
-
Yes I have seen that but support said I was running an outdated Windows Server release so would not go any further with it, what are you using?
-
Setup > General > System Information but it does not show how much of that might be garbage which a JVM restart would clear.
-
WHD12.7.10+ HF1 then. I do speak to the Product Manager of WHD and new Features are coming now they have addressed other security issues in the last update 12.7.11 and a few before. Has this been logged with SW Support and if so how far in the food chain did this get escalated?
-
You can use this as a reference https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Schedule-a-Web-Help-Desk-for-Windows-restart-to-clear-the-JVM-Heap-Memory?language=en_US Basically create a Windows Task to call a batch file which runs whd_stop.bat Wait at least 1 min then run whd_start.bat
-
I think it has been like this for a while, what release are you using?
-
Sounds like a Feature Request to me, but is not that user access information held on the whd-session.log file within the <webhelpdesk>/log folder already?
-
Never done them side by side. The FIPS bit needs to have the WHD at release level 12.7.5 and then upgraded to 12.7.11? according to the KB article, it does not detail moving to FIPS if already on 12.7.11
-
Do you have a scheduled restart around midnight when the background daemon might run the archine the old whd.log with a date and create a new one for the day?
-
Then I have not seen this, been running 12.7.10-HF1 for a while now and I can see older log files which switch at midnight Ok.
-
I @"kim.long", I have not noticed this but blitz my initial WHD12.7.11 test upgrade and setup fresh again today so won't be able to confirm how it reacts until tomorrow with logging - I will let you know.
-
I am not seeing that on my system, invoice is still on one page.
-
Sounds like an interesting question which should be logged with SW Support. They are very hot on security so they might want to take this onboard. If you get information from them it would be good if you publish the answer here for the wider community.
