I recently upgraded one of my sites to 6.5.3. There is good news and bad news I wanted to share. The good news is that flow collection does work on 6.5.3. The bad news that I learned is because we have an HA pair at our sites, we are only able to collect flow data from the primary ION. Since we have our circuits spread…

I worked with Palo support. They confirmed that it is a known issue and that it is fixed in the following versions: 6.5.3 and 6.4.2-b16

Is Aerohive now supported in 11.5? I'm not looking for heat maps, just the ability to poll for clients on an Aerohive access point.
-
I upgraded this morning and this is the first time in a very long time that the upgrade process went perfectly through the centralized upgrade. We have three servers (main poller and two APE's) and the process was about 90 minutes. One positive I have discovered with this upgrade is that Log Viewer is working for me now. I…

I ran Poller checker on the device in question, and made a note of which pollers it was using. I then ran it against one of our 1002 routers and compared them. They are both using the same pollers. Are you aware of a utility that be run to change the SysObjectID for a node? I'll be looking through Thwack as well.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to get this work on a 3850 that also gives NBAR data? I would be curious to know what the flow record looks like. I am running 16.6.6 IOS XE. Thanks!

Thank you for adding the Save to File option when viewing a configuration!!!!!

I think it makes the report looks very unprofessional with that information.

Open a support ticket and they will send you the correct link. I had the same issue Sent from my iPhone

In Node details, what SysObject ID does it show? When I added our 1001x, it is using 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.1861 .

I was just looking to add a feature request. Our Netflow sources list is getting lengthy. If devices could be grouped by location, Vendor, or device type is what I was thinking. We had been using NTA just for WAN routers, but I have some switches and PA's sending Netflow data to NTA.

I have cases opened with Cisco and Solarwinds. If I hear anything positive, I will let you know. This is the error message I am getting when I apply the flow monitor to an interface: % Flow Monitor: Failed to add monitor to interface: Invalid set of fields in monitor record for wired interface From what I have seen, I can…

Great idea. I just started looking at the forums to see if there is a way to do this. My reason for wanting to convert the reports from Report Writer to the web is so that if we need to migrate Orion to a new server, I don't have to worry about manually copying the reports to the new server.

Also, I took the OID you listed and tried adding it as a UDP for our ASR routers. While UDP detected the OID, when I tested it against our ASR routers, it came back and said it was not supported. When I did this test, I noticed we do have ASR 1001's as well as 1002's. I checked our 1001 's and those work fine. Maybe this…

I would also like to see the same with Nexus 5K/9K's with 2K's. Today when you have a 5K or 9K with 2K's connected to it, the 2K's are not displayed with their serial numbers or model numbers.

Just curious if anyone has seen after running the Configuration Wizard. We have been having issues with our existing primary poller where it shows the polling engine as down. After the first configuration wizard failure, I went to the primary poller and restarted the services and am attempting to re-run the COnfiguration…

I opened a case this morning.

We already own NTA. LiveNX has Prisma SD-WAN dashboards that provided better information than NTA. I looked at my original configuration for the IPFIX template, and in the description I included the link…

On a whim, I reset the client secret and it started working. The orchestrator is appearing, but I'm not getting all of the widgets like Solarwinds shows in their demo site. In Orion, The WAN Uplinks widget is blank, and the VPN Tunnels and VPN Connections widgets do not appear. From an NTA perspecitive, I am only getting…

Hi, thanks for your assistance. It turns out that we were migrated, but were not notified that it was done. In addition, I learned that my account was set to a browser role so I was not able to access our tenant. My role has been changed and I can now see the new portal. What level of access did you give your service…
-
We are still using a legacy portal with a cloudgenix.com domain.
-
Ok, that's for confirming this. I'll wait for our portal to be migrated.
-
Hi, where did you find the client id, secret, and TSG ID? Are you on the strata cloud manager portal for managing your sd-wan? We are still on the legacy portal for managing our SD-WAN and I can't find this information.
-
If you missed it, 2024.1 is out and they are now offering Cloudgenix monitoring! This is what I found related to NPM. They also state that NTA now supports Cloudgenix. Add Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN (formerly CloudGenix) orchestrator nodes for monitoring and pair the Prisma orchestrator with edge nodes. For monitored…

I updated my SD-WAN fabric to 6.1.5-b1 and the interface issue appears to be resolved. I spot checked my 3000 ION's and they are reporting the correct speeds.
-
I spoke too soon. On the NTA Summary page, The last receive Netflow column is incrementing correctly. However, if I drill into an interface, the traffic flow pattern does not match what is appearing in the CG Portal. There was a large burst of Netflow when the ION started sending flows, but it quickly dropped. Also, our…

I stopped looking into this at the time because I was able to successfully export IPFIX to our LiveNX instance. When I saw your reply, I looked into it a little more. I have an IPFIX profile created in Prisma SD-WAN (Resources\Configuration Profiles\IPFIX). For the template, there is a Default Flow Fields, and that is…

We are now running 17.6.5 and there is still no Host or IP data populating in UDT.
-
Well, I have an ION running 6.1.1-b10 and I thought I'd try this again. I noticed that when I was creating the IPFIX template, there was an option in Flow Fields. This option gave me the ability to choose one of two predefined templates. They are called Media Flow Preset Template(7 fields) and Connection Flow Preset…

I wanted to provide an update. We recently upgraded one of of our 3000 ION's to 6.1.1.b10. We discovered that they changed something in SNMP because the interfaces are showing up in Orion as 10 Mbps.
