I copy and paste the code and its invalid in the query window. Can someone reveal the secret to copying and pasting code from HTML posts to SW?

Thanks. Looking forward to any kind of inventory report that works for Linux/Windows inventory on one report. The other recent inventory report thread doesn't have disk info or Linux details.

Imagine if SolarWinds did dynamic discovery and automated management of all objects.

One last question - what variable in alerts will show the count. I triggered alerts properly and this template works great but it would be cool to have the actual license count in the email alert. Thanks,

I learned alot about Orion today with this, thanks Damien. Love, Newb

This template isn't working for me, but when I use the WMI Exploder it reads the license values just fine. Any ideas guys? Thanks!

I got the altrrego XML report working in new NPM but not previous version. I am still stuck on making this work for a client in previous version. Need it more in my old environment.

Got it working, thanks a ton.

Getting the same error here as well, would love to see this work, client just asked for this. Thanks much

Can we see a way to add Mount Points to this report? Thanks

Will this fix 7.6?

Bump to see if anyone can modify to include 1 custom property filter. Love this report, I'm just needing to filter. Thanks - all of you SQL geniuses rule.

Create your map in Visio, then use it as a background in Atlas. We have several sharp 60 inch screens up around the world with the NOC views. The challenge is getting the resolution right for so many types of NOC View data. When I export out of Visio for a 60inch screen I export at 1400x800 pixels - this is the magic…

There is not an easy way to do this, you have to create some complex triggers. How nice it would be to base alerts off groups. "Give me all Criticals from McDonalds servers..." A trigger should be that easy. But without a classful object framework, we have to define everything statically.

Help a newb out with the pass/fail icon placements? Thanks

I don't think there is anything special about CSR requirements. Treat it like any basic SSL'd IIS site.

Create a unique solarwinds app level account for the user and assign a custom view with the Map object. Then specify this View as their default view in the user property page. We do this for several clients and it works.

Once again, someone asks for a simple server summary report - this should be out of the box. So many threads, so little reports.

Thanks, here is a screenshot of a few counters...missing are Mem pages /sec, net bandwidth, disk transfer....disk idle time. I think if we could get CPU, MEM, Disk we would be very happy.

Is this thread related - Renaming Application Template Doesn't Rename Assigned Applications

You are asking for something that has been asked for years from SolarWinds. In the blog for PerfStack, this is the front and central point made. You will have to build out custom views with charts to do what you want, which are very busy and terrible. Is PerfStack the answer? Not really, we want a report, like the Views,…

For Windows only, check the recently posted dirty shutdown monitor template posted on Thwack. Or create your own with the event IDs.
-
I see this is not possible with SAM and there are feature requests for it. Or, we could use PS REST API. THX

Yes, create them a app level user name, and isolate their views using custom toolbars querying only data that they have access to. We do this successfully. But keep in mind, a crafty user can click around and guess View ID's. This has been discussed in other threads.

Someone recently posted something very similar that I use but now I can't find it here... It was named Server+Report.xml I believe.

The average user should not be given rights to setup monitors and alerts. One bad config can cause epic damage. I saw it with an alert configured with an any any without and kind of logic and it brought down an entire email system with 5 million alert emails that brought down a large company's mail system for 4 hours. You…

There are a few threads on this phenomena. The Windows Agents to me, are still in beta.

How is the alert trigger configured? Is the Condition must exist for more than x minutes option configured?

Create a service check app template and throw all the Domino services in it. That's all that is really needed. You can do a port check monitor as well depending on what port Domino is running on if customized but the service checks are all you really need.
