I called Solarwinds, and it turns out that I was reaching this limitation by using the "Universal Device Puller" from the desktop, and not through the admin web interface. Once I was instructed on how to do it on the web interface I was able to get what I needed. thanks for the suggestions.

 You mean by displaying it on the Node Details page? I created a new view just for the UPS's that I am trying to monitor. I have it on both node detail and my generic APC view that i created. My only option is a gauge or chart for both views. Is this what you are refering too?

 I was able to set this up and get a minutes value. However, the only way that I can display it is with a gauge. Does anybody have a way to display this value as a simple number? I don't want or need a confusing graphic for this value.

 Anybody else have a response? I hope I was able to help rsprim, but I am still having difficulties with displaying anything other than a gauge. It won't let me choose another way to display it.

 I was able to get temperature to display as both chart and a single value. I used 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.10.2.3.2.1.4 and was able to display temp as a value using "display as table." Serial, I toyed with, but didn't have a need, so I didn't try longer.

Did you find a way of doing this? I would like to do the same.
