Lovin' DPA (did the survey) it has really helped us tune it in. We applied it to our two production servers on July 27th, this is one of them. You can easily see how we have improved! I was easy to see how increasing the ram (August 12th) and a few things has greatly improved performance.

tried to do the poll for June 22nd, and it showed that it is an "unauthorized place"

I like the "who's line is it anyway" idea... that could be quiet funny especially with Kong & Leon also enjoy the idea of submit live questions to the staff or do a fun behind the scenes again.

And DONE ! ....

The company i am with, currently "strongly recommends" yearly training, and they give you a decent set amount allowed. There is a great free place online i have heard several individuals praise is Cybrary https://www.cybrary.it/

I am looking for it myself, we are wanting to start tracking the number on our VPN instead of manually doing it. Plus this way we can get historical data after a bit.

I commented on one of the other Checkpoint threads already. We just switched out and I am having issues also getting NCM to download the configs. I opened a ticket with SolarWinds to see if there was any new information that might be helpful.
-
Would really like more integration with Checkpoint firewalls & extreme switches and access points.
-
Maybe you should start this up again

Yes. it can. If you go into "All Settings, Manage Alerts", look for one that specifies "path to google changed" and copy and edit it for your specific ip address. I just started setting this up for out remote sites. You will want to setup in Netpath 1 path to each site ( it started to alert me for each path to the site had…

I use this to show if I am on our primary wan or secondary wan. Also, I use this to show connection to some of our web apps.

Update from SolarWinds Tech support: From both trace files, I do not see any configs being downloaded or commands sent for it. Though the Command to disable paging in both device templates shows invalid command: 'terminal length 0'. Do these devices need an enable password? Some devices like Cisco ASA require enable mode…

I am having the same issue. I just opened a ticket with SolarWinds to see if there is any new information that might help in this. We just switched over to Checkpoint.
-
We have it deployed, recently used it to show that we were on our backup path. Comes in handy for websites, or remote sites.
-
That would be correct.

I would start with setting up a Netpath route. That will help give you some insight into how the traffic flows through. This should also give you some insight to what IP's to start looking at to get more information from. If your not familiar with Netpath, below i have a quick example of one of mine. Netpath: You just need…

We use Minigoose watchdogs, and we took them out because solarwinds kept alerting us that they were rebooting every 4 hours. It got old quick. But if i remember i was able to pull in data... i think.

Spinner, I had an issue when i upgraded to 12.1 and specifically when i tried to upgrade NCM. Because i opened my ticket at like 10 or 11 pm, the Philippines took the ticket. That made it take a long time since they work at my night and such. Once i switched it over to the US, it was handled VERY quickly. It might be due…

on one i am hitting port 80, on the other 3 it is port 22

I have not noticed much difference in CPU. The current issue is the netpath does not stay green. It is frequently showing config changes on several of our devices & routers, even though there is no changes as you can see below. we have the polling set at 2 minutes because my supervisor wants to know within a short time…

I am using Netath to our routers. It works. I am setting it up to notify me when we fail over to our secondary connection. It is currently going to a 2951, 1941, and 2911 routers.

Lynchnigel, Thanks for the reply, i did find out from APC that i believe it is from our APC's being too old. We have a new one that is reporting correctly the 4th one down. All the others are old enough that i can not upgrade the firmware on the APC itself, just the network card. But I do like all the information you show.…

It turns out that it was firewall related. I ended up making sure the ports where open, that once I did that it worked.
-
both of these have been running for a while now. I set the interval for 2 minutes, and they still have yet to do their first poll. I will try the tracetcp and see what i get.

Rmatejka, I confirmed that it was installed on one, another one it didn't show netpath agent was installed but an agent was installed. I ran through the post for confirming netpath agent. Melmstedt, That could definitely be an issue with the firewall. I can do a netpath from Orion to the site, but not from the site to…
