That does, thanks much. don't know why adobe search didn't find it...

if the alert is disabled, it is not a problem because of the inner select only includes enabled alerts [where Enabled=1] the only time you will come into an issue [upon quick reflection] and need to address is if you have alerts enabled that are not 24x7. this would require further programming efforts like you mentioned.

HERE is the link to a report I created. Once you have that saved off, you can add it as a resource. I use it on my "top 10" page
-
I updated the content share to use caption. Thanks for letting me know!
-
I would also find this very useful as I plan to implement redundancy.
-
if you look at the two traps that use my custom properties, "muteNode" is what I use to silence alerts while still "monitoring" the node/apps. I'm with you and I do believe that is a feature request that they are working on already though.
-
I tried doing this in SQL via commands below, but SW used a smallint for PollInterval so it doesn't work update Nodes set pollinterval = 86400 where caption like 'PING TEST R-XRT%' you would be limited to –32,768 to 32,767

I love it. all help desk tickets referencing this node, FSM reports on firewall nodes, etc...
-
is it considered a report? maybe you could tweak the criteria that way...thinking out loud.

I have a good one. Previously we had spreadsheets for Networks and for Hosts. Right now (unless I missed something), I can't search the "IPAM_Group" or [Networks] table. That would be very useful. example. I have a new project and I need to see what subnets (regardless of breakout /25,/29, /24, /21, etc...) I have…
-
I've created a ticket for this...519800. FYI I'm trying to break up output of alerts for event logs...
-
If that doesn't work, let me know and I can help you set up a SQL job to replicate from one to another.
-
note if you are using supernet "groups" that is grouptype=4
-
I had not previously...thanks...you can find it HERE now
-
Please post fix, I am seeing the same issue. Thx
-
you are correct, that was a script I had saved off in archive and hadn't changed that yet. Glad to see it worked with your tweaks.
-
bummerinsky, dude! thanks for posting update! have fun
-
jhynds - EXCELLENT!!! thanks for the template too! happy to see process monitors as well. for clarification, the following three are down/not running... can you elaborate on what they are, and how they should be acting/behaving? Thanks!!!
-
WOOHOO! Thanks, I'll update/implement and report back!

conceptually, I agree w/ Donald. Usually, the system requirements of SQL boxes are high enough that it doesn't make sense to virtualize. as for functionally, I've been running that way (due to our current policies) for about two years and haven't had any problems. as for putting the logs on a different "drive", open up…
-
either that or got into mange nodes -> select drop down from nodes to interfaces -> choose group by status -> click check box in upper right to select all on that page. system will prompt to see if you want to select all 4k interfaces - say yes if that's what you want, then select unmanage and set your time parameters.…

not sure what that means, size like 1600x1200 or like too many object on the map/submaps? Basically when this shows up, I've had to reboot the system to get the web page to show up properly. Although I've never tried to hit a submap directly. I'll test that too. I'll let you know.
-
arg, it works now. apparently I didn't test this when updating to 2.0.1. I asked support to close the ticket. thanks
-
don't you usually get the [A when you up or down arrow during SSH or an inopportune CR/LF? maybe the script has an incorrect variable or something the system is not liking...
-
keithjen I did see that you can set alert to run as defined user...the problem with that is if you have multiple domains, you now have to have specific alerts per domain and the logic associated w/ separating them out. Probably not an issue for many envs. though. Seems logical and elegant to be able to take creds from…

Thanks aLTeReGo; appreciate the response. I was making it harder than it needed to be, in some respects, but there is still a use case. I do check the service as well as an event log indicating the service stalled. I put a Feature Request in for this.
-
yea, I saw the blog but don't really have time to recreate. Can you go into the report and view -> SQL and give that to me...I'll test with that if you want. Originally, I thought you had uploaded the report to the content exchange, which is what I was looking for.
-
I upgraded last night (smoothest one yet, and I did all modules -> woohoo!). i did a quick test by changing the object number and was still able to pull another customers' stats. that being said, I want to check my restrictions one more time. I've re-opened the ticket I had and will keep posted.

I sometimes get this as well. if I do a refresh, it comes back, but need to get that resolved.
