  • Just wondering if this is still being looked at? I would really not want to drop the global polling value for all the nodes when all I need is the custom poller to be dropped to 1 minute for 5 nodes that it is applied to.
  • Problem with that is we are actually using the two that would normally be assoitiated as the subnet and broadcast of a /30 example 172.30.252.8/30 172.30.252.8 would be subnet, usable IP's would be .9 and .10 and broadcast would be .11 for the /31 172.30.252.8/31 would be the one side of a serial link and .9 would be the…
  • Embarrassing - it was that easy. Thanks for the reply
  • I would really like to request that IPAM allow the creation of /31 and /32 subnets in both the wizard and the normal add subnet menu's. Actually I am surprised that the option is not there since it is quite common now days to use these subnets for loopbacks and for point to point connections.
  • We have the same issue, I believe it happened after upgrade to NPM 10.1.1 sp1 - has anyone heard anything as to how this can be fixed? Thanks
  • I have removed IP addresses for security reasons. After this if I look at the node list there is no configs. ====================================================== -->StateChange: Connecting to server<-- -->StateChange: Connected to server - idle<-- Solarwinds.Net SWTelnet9 Version 9.0.19 Connected! --> --> Notice To Users…
  • Not that I have Pass through authetication working yet on NPM 9.1 but I did get that error after making the changes to IIS. It was resolved when I restart the IIS service
  • Thanks, that worked
  • I actually have no issue with moving to a web based interface, however if this is the direction (and it clearly is) then Solarwinds MUST do something about the performance of the WEB UI. We are running NPM 10.1 on a very high end server 18 cores and 16gig of ram and the web ui is still slow.
  • I cannot confirm or not confirm, but I believe the syslog utilizes external DNS for resolving the IP's. What I see is that sometimes the message will come in as an IP address and then the second or third message (from same node) will come in as a name. I think I read in a post somewhere that the NPM alert will try send the…
  •  Sorry wrong hand I did mean the left-hand node list tree.
  • Three things I would really like to see in the next version of IPAM 1) Warnings when creating a duplicate subnet or when creating a subnet that overlaps with an already created subnet. THIS IS A BIG ONE 2) After creating a supernet, some sort of summary that will keep track of and report all the available subnets within…
