First got to admin and check customize menu bars and see if virtualization is there then go to user accounts manage accounts and open the account you are logged in as and check the home tab menu bar

Yes you can you just need to deactivate your licenses using license manager and the reactivate on the new one but you are missing out on a lot of great new features staying on 12.0.

This is a service running on the Orion server check to see if someone used their local account for this service.
