I have encountered another problem with report writer. When trying to export to XLS. It doesn't give the correct value. ex peak CPU load is 89% , when exported it shows 1 or sometimes 0 Currently I'm at 9.5 SP4 Any comments from SW support?

Bump!!!

Even it is written in report writer and remove its hyperlink, the hyperlinks still there on the email

I have resolve mine by reformatting the polling engine and install from scratch. I suspect any upgrade or reinstallation still remain some footprints of the previous buggy version

I Agree with you Don

I didn't meant to sound to you that way. based from my understanding APM has different "ID" (applicationID) on the database for every node it poll, exactly different from the "ID" that NPM polled (NodeID). APM (AA:XXXX) = polled memory utilization of that particular application within that node whereas NPM (N:XXXX)= polled…

I have moved tons of nodes with no issue (no data collection has been lost). I used "Monitoring Polling Engine"

LOL... Go to Orion Server 1. Start>All Programs> Solarwinds Orion> Alerting, Reporting, and Mapping> Advanced Alert Manager 2. In Advanced Alert MAnager> You can select a default or sample alert from the list like " Alert me when an application goes down Referenced:…

Thanks William, We do have added those MPLS routers (cisco 7206 VXR) in Orion but limited....the standard MIB/OID that Orion uses for CPU Utilization seems not getting any data on Cisco 7206 / 7200 series. which is one of the main component that should be in monitor

You can edit it on the report writer or create new report via report writer

Goodluck!!! the_toilet In my case, This weekend could be my second time to move the schedule of upgrade until next SP has been released by solarwind. currently running 9.0 SP5

Can the column order be changed? I second this question. I have similar problem with the way it shows in the table. Can't find any way to rearrange the column (ex. change column B to C or vice versa)

Status Polls provide UP/DOWN (ICMP) Statistics Polls provide detailed information such as Memory Usage, CPU Lode, Etc (SNMP) You may find this link very helpful http://www.solarwinds.com/support/orion/docs/gaps/gaps.htm

Mine is not that lucky......Tried more than 5 times....Aside from SW technician tried it for 3 times This is the hardest software I've ever handled when upgrading or uploading SPs.....You can't just double click the installation package then whoala!!! I'm polling over 9000 elements and have a few turned down to 1 minute intervals with no problems. The is quite a difference between 5 min & 1 min polling as far as picking up the peak utilization on a circuit. I like to call them "micro-bursts". 1 minute interval? that's cool, looks like your box has a super horse power…

I already have that but what I primarily need is to generate report that will list down all network devices that has logging configuration or under syslog monitoring

it may be that the SMTP server is set up to only send internal. try getting with the person who runs the SMTP server...that's the only thing I can think of... I agree to this. You may want to contact your exchange admin or system admin to allow that SMTP server to relay an email to outside the company domain. they can help…

I have asked the same thing before. Have you done these steps? NT Windows Authentication 1. Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. 2. Expand Internet Information Services > Local Computer > Web Sites in the left pane. 3. Select SolarWinds NetPerfMon. 4. Click…

Hi Denny, APM 3.0 beta is out for testing right? What features or hotfixes are added on 3.0 that are not in 2.5? Kinda interested here in testing your beta
-
it's still an issue and I haven't heard any resolution from solarwind yet
-
Yes sir
-
Hope this will resolved my problem too..... the event viewer of my box bombarded with this error
-
add me on the list for this feature request.

Is there anyway we can do something about it? we only want to use NTA for less than 500 nodes.yet, if we buy SLX then it cost us another fortune or 10k more. Since it is only a plan on buying it.....Without thinking no executive will approved this. And we can't think of something solid to support on why we need this module…

check also with your system adminsitrator if the IP of your SW server is allowed to send email relay on your SMTP server

haha... I accidentally clicked on last page... anyhow as this old post has not been answered by anyone... Orion does not include any SQL licenses, there is a "free" SQL for the server with a 4GB limit tho. LOL ---- a 7-year old post has been answered at last hahahaha
