superfly99 - this should be fixed now! :-)

jeremymayfield, vinay.by and anyone else who is experiencing this issue. Here is my recommendation. When the poll is answered, the system puts the action (or event) in the event queue, which is what my listener is looking for to award the points, so either there is a delay in that process (I doubt this theory) or there…

Well, it's mostly over, but we decided that the filters offered by our vendor just weren't working well for our external community, so we built our own that match our own criteria. I deployed that plug-in last night and removed quite a few of the OOB options. So far everything is working really well, but the real test will…

If you did this in the last two weeks, it should have automatically given you the points, which you can see in your activity, but if you did it earlier, then we are manually working through the list to get everyone their points.

So, just as a heads up, I don't know why you were just moderated on that last post cnorborg, but it wasn't from my plug-in, which means it's residual from some of the vendor's filters. I thought, other than the keywords, that I had turned off all the vendor's filters already. (SIGH)...sure would be nice if it was all…

As the new thwack Product Manager (PM), I really like this idea. It's something I've been researching and discussing because to wluther's point, we want to make sure we have the ability to properly document and store the content that would come from something like this. Baby steps....but keep the ideas coming! I love to…

There has been an update to the spam "filters"; right now the new vendor is learning what is and what isn't spam, but unfortunately, it's also over-riding my configurations on who and what NOT to monitor. Even my comments are getting moderated! I have reached out to the new vendor and we will get this addressed as quickly…

designerfx and Jfrazier - It can be hard to determine whether the "undefined" is related to a specific activity you took when we have to manually add those points to your reputation, but usually you can see some verbiage as an indicator, such as "1 day ago". It's definitely not the best way but I think a FR detailing the…

Jfrazier - thanks for catching this for us. Seems this happens periodically whenever I have to do updates. I'll have our vendor take a look at the logs to see if we can identify what keeps bringing this issue back to light. Every time we fix it, it doesn't appear to stay fixed so there is obviously something else that is…

LOL! You got me cnorborg!!!! You are correct in that I really don't trust people initially, until the trust has been earned, so I was being slightly cheeky in my post! Totally BUSTED!
-
Awesome! Thanks so much, and yes, please let me know if it happens again, but I think I have it resolved for now.

This is all my hubby and his genius brain at work! :-)

You did david.eckert@teammidwest.com :-) Thanks for your feedback; we really appreciate it!

OMGosh clubjuggle - I cannot believe you saw that out of all that chaos! IMPRESSIVE, my friend! :-D

I had mentioned the previous comment to the new Customer Portal PM, Karla kkpenney, but now that we have her on thwack, I'm just gonna tag her! :-)

Well the question has somewhat complex answer; however, let me try to explain. These types of activities, i.e. missions, contests, etc. that we are doing aren't technically OOB so our gamification software can't automatically award the points. The software is designed to have missions set up with one action. Since our…

Yup! Hasn't even been 24 hours since we removed some of our restrictions. I've reached out to our vendor to get me the beta for their latest spam plug-in; they're partnering with Mollom. Hopefully I can get this under control quickly!

aLTeReGo has several years ahead of most in the community seeing as how he was using the product before SolarWinds was a household name, but I have to agree that he rocks!

Hi typhoon87 - would you be using IE by any chance? This happened to someone else internally and it appeared after we made a small adjustment to our theme. I had him clear his cache and the images loaded for him. I will continue to research as this is slightly challenging to nail down because I have not been able to…

As of right now, the thing that will change is the actual checkout process and the UI around that process. I know DanielleH is constantly evaluating the store items and making changes or adding new items, but the release for tonight is simply the checkout process.

Hi aflores - Question 3 does not have options; it's just a fill in the blank. If your screen keeps refreshing after making an attempt, it means you didn't answer the questions correctly. HTH! :-)
-
Can someone send me a screenshot of their monthly mission table where I can see what it looks like on your side, pretty please?
-
OK my awesome THWACKERS, we figured out the fix we implemented for the poll question introduced a different bug that stopped rendering the pop up confirmation window. It didn't break any of the functionality but definitely not a great idea to give a 404 error every time you answer a question, so I will upload that fix…

Hi kdeal - try this one: GNS3 to SolarWinds NPM Integration Guide

LMBO!!!!

Hi pperryrlc - we don't have the N-able product line on thwack, but there is a separate community designated to the N-able product line here.

Yup, that is definitely another way to skin the cat ...smart thinking mikegale
