Thank you for being honest. When you first look at the marketing info it implies that it will detect and alert you when devices are connected to the network. When you read the administrators manual you see that it will only recognize certain types of Wireless AP's and that is why I asked. Looks like NAC will be our best…

Richard, I would prefer to use Network Access Control, but at the moment we have solarwinds with Orion and NPM implemented. We have a large relatively flat network across 3 large agencies and we need to know when someone connects a wireless access point onto the network. We have other solutions for other devices like…
