I'd like to extend this functionally to any custom properties added a a node. In this case, we can then use any of these custom properties as a variable within the powershell script.

Yes. This particular application consist of a collection of processes (.exe) and a set of Windows services. When a request is submitted to the Application server, the appropriate Windows service responds and starts up the needed process (.exe); In addition, this process may also trigger another process to start-up as well…
