  • We have various VBScripts that utilize WMI to interact with file transfers and such. I'm currently monitoring for the wscript.exe processes, which is okay to some extent. However, a WMI event would be better, instead of getting an alarm for each wscript service going up and down.

  • Under Network Performance Monitor Settings, you can go all the way down to 10 seconds for the "Check response time and status of each node". The top setting. . You could also have an alert triggered where the response time is less than your set amount of 120 seconds.

  • WE had this problem as well, when we sent a report via email and the receipient used Outlook. Unless the email was flagged as allowed, it went to the 'Junk' mail folder.
