Vijay, Nothing is automatic when it comes to adding nodes/new resources. Adding to Mohitonline's answer. You can schedule a network discovery weekly once or twice to find the newly added components and don't forget to poll the node before you list resource Regards, Mahesh

ICMP with SNMP is setup to help poll the devices for the fastest ping and to avoid false alarms when the SNMP service is restart or down.
