Ok, but in the case of mapping values using an Enumeration, I would have to go through and manually enter the mappings for each OID? I was wondering if there was an easy way to get the OID as a result and then search for that OID and get the text value "The system has shutdown". Instead of having to manually enter each…

I have another Universal Device Poller Question for you. There is a Liebert Mib I querey and the results return the OID number for other mibs as the description. Is there a way to get a human readable description instead of the OID number? For instance Row ID 1 is the MIB 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.2.1.150 which is:…

I am thinking about creating a custom property called priority with different levels. 1 = High priority 2 = Medium 3 = Low Then based on those numbers in that interface property orion can email or page etc. How does that sound? Just throwing that out for any feedback.

Does the Kiwi Syslog documentation explain what all the fields in the debug diagnostics mean? We have 9 filters and I didn't set them up. I will look through the Sylsog documentation. The time the Kiwi was showing messages from an hour ago was when we had a network outage. Maybe it was sending so many messages the had to…

1. Try "interface names for Orion", it worked for me for vmVlan (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.68.1.2.2.1.2). ----This option won't work for me. I don't have orion monitor all interfaces, I just have Orion monitor UP-Links (Trunks).

This was fixed by talking to tech support and having them send me and updated cisco.wlan.txt script to put in my /scripts directory of catTools. The wireles controller in question has a different ios version and displays more output then the older versions. Case Closed

I did an uninstall of Orion 8.0. I deleted all folders that were left over that the uninstall did not remove. I am guessing there are a bunch of registry entries that need to be removed. I guess I can submit a ticket to support, I was just curious if anyone else ran into the same issue. Also I did not have any modules…

Support suggested I to a repair of the application and then re-install service pack 5. That seemed to fix it. Not sure what caused the problem in the first place though.
