Same every month. There's that one question that just doesn't make sense....No prizes for me again.....
-
Thanks again for the reads. I'm currently vacationing a little father north from London. Enjoy the usual summer weather we're currently having. I too really like the Escher gif. and the thought of some rogue business unit buying and using a non-approved cloud based app is really scary.

I linked my accounts last week but have not been awarded the points. I'm so close to leveling up, I need every point I can get.

I can't believe this has been out here for years and only has so few votes. The ability to schedule a SAM application for a specific time would be fantastic. Almost every log monitor request I set up only needs to run a couple times a day and sometimes just once. My current work around is to add the times when the log…

I'm going to agree. The option for "Connection Profiles" is definitely not under "NCM Node Management".
-
Thanks for the reads. I'll be using that Cloudbleed faux pas as an example when teaching folk how to code. Yes, little things matter when coding. The only thing about Windows working with flying cars is the good old BSOD. Will the flying cars have parachutes in case somebody checked the infamous Window setting: "Install…

Thanks for the reads. I use Snowboy on my homemade Raspberry Echo to use any wakeWord I want. Maybe Amazon could offer something similar.

Great reads as always, Thanks. As for the 1.4 billion emails sent, I think my son is trying to beat that with the amount of sms messages he sends a day.
-
Great reads as always. Thanks Did your team win?

Thanks for the reads as always. About a mile away from the Darmstadtium is a small local brewery called "Grohe". I would check that out if you like beers and have some time to spare. Enjoy....
-
Perfect timing as always. Will have an hour to waste shortly and look forward to reading through your links. I just felt the need to reply now because of the Scotch Egg comment. I've never had a Scotch Egg that was not cold. Would you microwave them or put them in the oven before eating them??

Thanks for the links as always. I really like how a bunch of bees can shut down millions of dollars worth of technology.
-
Ignore that question. It helps when one can keep ones inboxes straight.
-
Still can't believe Kirk is out.
-
Nice write up. I agree with all points. I am trying to force myself to use the new Edge browser for a bit for comparison and it's not nearly as bad as IE was.
-
We're looking at adding some form of event logging. Some good points here.
-
Thanks for the links again. I really like the Game of Thrones animation.
-
"Don't reinvent the wheel" can't be said enough. I see guys all the time trying to over complicate basic tasks because they think they can do it better.
-
Thanks for the reads as always. I am shocked about the "Bridges needing repair" graphic on the infrastructure link. Bridges seem kind of important and should receive the attention needed. Why are so many needing repairs? Will one need to collapse before something happens?
-
Thanks for the links. Haven't had chance to read 'em all but there's some good stuff there.

We are just now moving to a new environment with a new enough version of Orion to start using AppStack. I can't wait. It looks very useful.
-
Inbox cleaned. This is going to be a good year. Great write up. Thanks
-
'tis done.....

I also agree that it makes no sense at all to try and learn to code in Notepad. The IDEs these days do half the work for you.

I clicked Vote and voted today but didn't get a Green check mark. It's the only one I'm missing for the month. Suggestions??
-
Thanks adamlboyd for sharing the link. This is exactly what we were talking about just this morning. We already have this: "send all of your syslog and trap to a filtration layer" covered so maybe we should go the LEM route. And thanks adatole for the write up. It's really a great break down of which product we need to…

Poll completed but no check mark. Help!
-
Belated congratulations.

Yes, the Node name. I find it easier to browse through a list of the same case, either upper or lower. Uppercase looks a little better. Purely an OCD thing as apolloc points out.
