The IP SLA support is actually matter of Cisco IOS. Version 12.4(4)T and later contain IP SLA support. See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/iosswrel/ps8802/ps6968/ps6441/prod_qas0900aecd80358be7.html and http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6350/prod_bulletin09186a0080457b39.html

The Network Map resource on the website has the "Edit" button in the title. Click the Edit button and select the map you want to have displayed.

This could be a security issue (website may have a problem to load images from the local folder), a database issue, or a problem with translating macros (if you used any). I recommend contacting support to figure out what the problem is. If the map works fine in Network Atlas and behaves this way only in your website, I…

You can create a map of, for instance, campus, and then you can put the map as a single node onto another map.
-
Status of a node on a map has two values: node status and child status. The child status is displayed as the small "dot" in the bottom right corner of the node. The child status does not influence the overall status of the map in which the node is, the main status does. If you want an interface status to influence map…

The Historical Traceroutes resource shows all routes that have been found during existence of the IP SLA operation. If there was only one path found, only the one will be displayed. You can check whether the correct data is displayed directly on the device. If think the resource does not display correct data, please open a…

I assume you have an issue with browser integration between Orion and Toolset, is that correct? What is the version of Toolset you use? Starting version 10.7, the browser integration is provided via JavaScript rather than ActiveX. You should have the following started on the client machine with Toolset. 1)…

exact, could you please post a screenshot? I am not sure I understand the issue. Another thing you could do is to escalate the issue to your sales representative. Thanks, Michal

Try to use a background image (you can use a background image with solid color) and keep all objects within the borders of the image.

HotFix 4 is for command line version of Switch Port Mapper - SWSPMCMD.exe. The best way to make sure the hotfix is applied is to apply it again Otherwise you can open the properties of the file, and check for Copyright text (tab "Version" in Win 2003/XP, or "Details" in Win 2008/7). The hotfix has the copyright dated to…

ipNetToMediaTable is deprecated and is usually not available in the latest Cisco IOS. If the ipNetToMediaTable is not available, UDT uses ipNetToPhysicalTable to gather the data. So to answer your question, you should expect to see Layer 3 results if one of these tables is available.

Are you trying to connect to a remote machine? Does the login work for Orion website?
-
hello, check the admin guide for the possible ways to authenticate. DirectLink account might be the way to do what you want.
-
what is the size of the actual image for which the thumbnail is displayed? If the size is small, the control displaying thumbnails is not able to display it correctly and displays the gray box you have in the picture
-
what do you mean?

if you followed the steps correctly, you should have imported the custom graphics in the database. The 9 different statuses will be used when the tri-color shape is chosen and the actual custom graphic is selected for a node. If this works correctly in the Network Atlas application, it should also work on the website. If…

You might create a special view for each of the administrators (if they have their own logins) and set different maps per each view.

Does this PE have any IP visible from your network?

have you considered LanSurveyor?
-
Hello, this is known issue which has been fixed in 10.0

Hi, this is just a generic error message. A quick look to log files (if there are any) would tell more. You may also contact our support.

There is the Group By combo box (dropdown) above the tree with nodes and interfaces providing grouping by custom properties. Is this what you are looking for?
-
This is what the maps are for. If the routers are in Orion database, you should see them in Map Maker in the left panel (the tree). If you drag a node from the tree to a new map, the node gets its status (color) from the status of assigned network object. To change or find out which network object is attached, right click…

There is no hard coded limit of nested maps. The only limiting thing here is performance. I would try the following: 1) copy all the nested maps from the problematic map onto another map. 2)start removing the nested maps from the problematic map, one by one, and always check on the website whether it helped. 3)if the above…

Hello,Linked Background may not be loaded from the following reasons:1) The URI is not valid or there is no connection possible the the URI. 2) There is no valid bitmap at the specified URI3) The selected bitmap is so big that its download takes a long time and therefore it is not possible to display the…
-
hello, The Linked Background feature is new in Network Atlas. However, you can use the Live Weather Map from our Content Exchange with Orion 9.1 maps (see ). On the second item, Network Atlas does not support adding or positioning of nodes by values of their custom properties.
-
You need to create a new map, set up your own background image, and drag nodes from the left pane (tree) on the map.
-
There are functions in the AutoArrange and Distribute groups that should help you with arranging the nodes. The AutoArrange functions work on all nodes on the map and they lay out only the nodes that are connected. The nodes that are not connected are put into a separate group. The Arrange Labels function should move all…

In your case, I would probably use the MAC-based white list, but I am no network administrator, so I will let others answer this one. If you need a list of MAC addresses on your network, there is a tool called MAC Address Discovery in our Engineer's Toolset. It scans a subnet and provides a MAC and host name for each IP…
