Hi, actually I'm not aware of anything so big that would have huge impact on Data Retention behavior between versions. Is your issue persistent?
-
Currently there is no way how to do it, but we are working on better charts and what you have mentioned is one of the thing we would like to introduce.
-
got it.

Hi, we are working on support of MSM 760/765 devices for NPM. Our DEV needs to figure out what's the OID of Rogue AP detection. Could someone that has 760/765 and Rogue APs send me SNMP walk please? thanks, Michal

It is not we don't want to fix these problems but this time it didn't fit the release scope. It's still on our list of improvements for future.
-
Hi guys, I really appreciate your help! I'm going to send an email with instructions to all of you. thanks.
-
Hi, you can use our SWQL and get IPSLA related data. For instance: SELECT op.OperationName, op.CurrentStats.RoundTripTime FROM Orion.IpSla.Operations op But can't you just create special group of users on SolarWinds web console and show data directly? I still don't know if you solve this problem because of policy…

bug confirmed. under engineering.
-
I can confirm it won't be fixed for old charts since new charts have this fixed.
-
Hi Larry, I've tried to simulate that on my end. Try to follow the screenshots and let me know if that works on your end: Final results on IP Address page:

Hi augustocsm, this is something we are actually working on I'd like to contact you offline and show you what we have in Beta according to enhanced users limitations. thanks, Michal
-
Update: check your "> this is something that we are working on for vNext.
-
Hi Shay, this has been just misunderstanding, we've just tested that on live Cisco environment (and that's what our DEV wanted to say), so that's validated by our QA and we are sure that it works on this gear. However, if there are other vendor's devices that respond to the same OIDs then it will work too.

thanks for feedback. just to be very clear, since you are not looking for multicast messages then you don't need to see that in event log, but the message itself is good enough in a case you would be (and then see more on multicast group page), correct?
-
ok, thanks John

Hi, unfortunately it's still a case for NPM 10.6 because of higher priority issues. But we still have it on our list of bugs to fix. What's your priority level on this? thanks, Michal
-
thanks for walks. we are working on adding a better support for Ruckus

IPAM events are only triggered if you make the change via IPAM (remove DNS or add DNS record). It doesn't report change after each scan of DNS zone. What's the use case behind your alert. do you want to watch specific DNS zones and records and make sure unauthorized person does not delete records? Also, how it should…
-
yes, you can try this approach (we haven't test that on these devices)
-
checking with engineering team, stay tuned pls.

For those who already downloaded NPM 10.6 RC, there is another small HW health tweak we introduced: Ignoring sensors without name * Some sensors might be recognized during polling, but these sensors do not have a name assigned (by the device). You can spot them in NPM with generic name like "Sensor <NUMBER>". These sensors…

Hi Wael Hilal, if I understand that correctly, you basically want to display data from SolarWinds IPSLA on your custom "portal server". Correct? If so, then you would like to do that because of policy restrictions of because of different content of the data you have on such "portal server". I'd like to understand what…

Hi bschurr, Avaya support is one of the actual priorities - see what we are working on for IPSLAM but we can't do aby commitments regarding release dates. What we would really appreciate if those who are interested in Avaya support would give us a SNMP walks of their Avaya devices - this help our development to figure out…
-
Hi thawkson, unfortunately not. We still have it on our list of bugs. Is this a serious problem for you? thanks, Michal
-
Hi marunderwood, NPM and IPAM polls are not in sync (for IPAM it typically takes longer than 10 minutes to scan for all statistics data - you may see your IPAM subnet scan scheduler.) However both NPM and IPAM are using the same technique how to obtain node details. You may try to prioritize your IPAM subent scan in order…
-
the current way how to do that is to create a new custom property which you can put next to the IP Address status and group IPs by that. However there is still one IP address reservation status for IP address (icon).
-
Could you please tell us what we need to simulate a call with virtual instance of Avaya CM?
-
we can currently find next available IP, but inserting/changing the status via API is currently not supported. we are working on improvements and complete API support for IPAM operations (update/add). if you use SQL it's a workaround but I do not recommend that because it may break IPAM functionality (we've tried that and…
-
besides that, we would like to improve HW health sensor management in the future so you may turn off or on sensors you are interested in only.

Hi, thanks for info. As you probably read above. Those devices would have to support following IOS commands: ‘show running-config’, ‘show ip dhcp pool’ and ‘show ip dhcp binding’ to be scanned. We know about that and it has been logged as a feature request. thanks, Michal
