we are still working on ISC so any input is appreciated.

Hi, yes, you certainly can install both on the same machine and SQL server. Both product were and are tested on integration stories. Follow the admin guide requirements and you should be OK. I would personally keep SQL server as standalone machine (instead having SQL + SolarWinds pollers on the same servers), if you…

from a quick view, it looks like a connectivity issues or bad credentials. I recommend to try to connect to Cisco CLI via console from the VNQM machine. If that works, please open a ticket with our support.

Hi, unfortunately this kind of synchronization between NPM and IPAM is not possible actually. I entered your requirement as feature request (FB90005). Is this something just "nice to have" or does it really solve your issues (if so what is that problem)? And are there any other data that you would use in IPAM from other SW…

Hi, please make a SNMP walk (how to do that:http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/3145/SolarWinds+SNMP+Walk%3A+A+new+tool+for+collecting+SNMP+MIB+walks) and send it to me directly. thanks, Michal

Hi lukeod, in addition to bluefunelemental's post. You need to select "import Groups/Supernets/Subnets" in order to successfully import whole structure: you can take a look on this example of how imported spreadsheet should look like: Also, IPAM 3.0 can not export structured subnets - that's why it always create separate…

for those who would like to see support for additional DHCP server monitoring/management please vote here: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/polls/1026

Hi, you have NPM 10. I guess right? If your modems respond to SNMP then you can monitor them (at least via UnDP)

Hi, it depends what you are looking forward to use. IPSLA functionality coming from Cisco IOS 12.3 and higher (you may validate your devices on Cisco web site). VoIP & CDR functionality in VNQM is now related to Cisco Call managers v 6.x, 7.x and 8.x Please let me know if you need better clarification. thanks, Michal

Hi Dan, is this what you want (need to go via Edit):
-
If yo do not mind to see bit different colors for availability, you may try this approach: 1) click on "customize page" on IPSLA summary page and "enable left pane navigation" 2) Add new "tab" called Operation Availability and end the edit mode 3) Click on the "Operation Availability" and then "customize page" 4) Add…

Just to make sure, it should be a subview on IPSLA Summary page where you would see bunch of resources like this but each one would be filtered for a specific operation right?
-
Hi Dave, you didn't do anything wrong. Search of DNS aliases is currently not supported. We are aware of it and have an action item for that. thanks for feedback! Michal
-
no beta feedback so far, anyone would you like to help us and validate that our current beta gives you correct routing data in your environment?
-
Hi, I'm not sure what exactly you are asking for but you can add such DHCP server to IPAM (if vendor is supported). IPAM will load DHCP configuration from your server and if it becomes to standby mode then you may see that status of this server/node will be changed to down(different icon) and once it be available again…

Guys, you are awesome! Thanks for all your great feedback. We are already actively investigating this topic and I'll keep you informed. thanks, Michal

our new NTA 4.1.1 beta has also some improvements for ASA devices and templates. once you check the required field let us know back.

Hi Hesh, unfortunately IPAM doesn't sync "Description" field. I created customer feature request (FB90505) and we will track that. thanks.
-
Hy Systemadmin, this is the same question you asked here: IPAM Delay in IP population My recommendation is 1) upgrade to IPAM 4.2 first and if that won't help open a support ticket and we will take a look where the problem may be. please, keep us posted.

Hi Oskar, it works, you may setup different set of columns for subnet view per user. all you have to do is setup at least "Operator" role for each user that may modify the default view:
-
Hi Christopher, I added that as a feature request. Other than that, have you found anything else regarding IPAM DHCP management that you would like to mention?
-
Hi, by saying "not discovered" I guess you don't see any content of your subnet. You may use the tool described in this post:IP Address Manager tips & tricks to solve the problem you have. thanks, michal

Hi Fejiro, our VoIP & Network Quality Manager uses Cisco Call Managers to get a call quality data and it also uses Cisco routers in order to use IPSLA functionality. That being said, you will be able to troubleshoot your call even though you gateways are non a Cisco brand. If you own IPSLA manager already, you may try RC2…

not in it's current version. we were thinking about that a lot in the history, but there was no big demand from our users. what's the vendor of telepresence you need that for?
-
I think you would need a custom SQL report for this. I'll validate with our engineering and let you know. thanks, Michal
-
Hi, to address your remaining questions: - it's ok running IPAM on virtual machine - we do not offer official IPAM migration tool. What I would do is an export of subnets into spreadsheet and then import that again on new IPAM instance. If this is not enough I'd migrate whole DB (via backup/restore option). It's not super…

It is now in NPM 10.6

Hi, more than amount of DHCP servers, it depends on number of scopes per each DHCP servers. Right now we are aware of problem when you have more than 100 scopes per each of your 100 DHCP servers.
-
hi, can you share with us if that was fixed?
-
Hi, this is not a known bug, if you really can't see your imported subnets (didn't you changed user account limitation for "imported subnets" folder?) then, please, open support ticket and we will help you: Submit a Customer Service or Technical Support Ticket - SolarWinds
