Dave, please let us know if this solves your problem. thanks, Michal

Hi, this is actually not possible but it is a very good request. I've created a feature request for this. thanks, Michal

Hi Rafi, for this specific use case I would recommend to evaluate UDT as well as this integrates with IPAM and you can see direct connection of IP address to your switch (and Active Directory user name as well). NPM and IPAM do not have such search summary page (however, you can find IP address & interface information just…

Now available in NPM 10.5

we are also building a new event (syslog, trap) correlation engine that should help you in using logs for troubleshooting of network issues. You may have a look on sample of our UI NPM unified and syslog search preview and leave us a comment (or download a beta and try). we are using new fast full-text search database…

Hi Jon, take a look on this video: Planning Your IPv4 to IPv6 Migration - Videos | SolarWinds let me know if you need more details. thanks, Michal
-
Hi, what you wrote should work in the IPAM. Could you please send me diagnostics and the imported text (list of the subnets and masks) you are trying to import so we can quickly investigate your problem? My email is available through contact details on Thwack.
-
Hi, could you pls share screenshot of that message (also list of IPAM scan jobs). thanks.
-
We have decided to change this behavior and you may try our IPAM Beta 2 to see that change. Network and broadcast addresses are not taken into license count anymore. Please feel free to try it and let us know if you are OK with current behavior. thanks, michal

We know about the problem and working for a fix. Version 4.1 is not compatible with CCM v10. please stay tuned for more information.

Hi Smartd, two things here: - based on what you wrote, you are saying that if you do a search for particular IP you get different results based on from where you are trying to do a search? - If you are not happy about UI how we display the search results would you be willing to jump into a short call with me and member of…

No it can't. EOC v1.x needs to communicate with primary server with SQL in order to transfer the data. EOC doesn't do any polling though. Additional web servers do not have any data persistency, they also need to ask main servers in order to show a data. you can certainly tunnel only required ports between EOC and main…

Hi, would't be logical grouping (have a folder=color) enough for this case?
-
Hi, not directly in the IPAM itself. but you can certainly use our API/SDK and schedule the Windows Schedueld task to do that. Here is a post I wrote about using IPAM API and how to get FreeIP address, it could be modified to export all IP addresses and subnets into spreadsheet: How to use the IPAM API and get "Free IP…

Hi David, Mark's answer is correct however I would like to add few more details: Our services run by default under Local System account and website app pool runs under Network service account. Local System has highest privileges on system and that’s the only configuration we’re testing. Any changes to that (creating new…

hi, yes that's reasonable request - we are currently working on right approach how to leverage integration and data interchange between our products. So keep your ideas coming!

Hi, did you install IPAM 3.1 beta or IPAM 3.0 eval?
-
Hi, our Engineering team has came with following custom SQL query: SELECT DISTINCT n.Caption, vcpcd.Extension, vcp.Name, vcp.MAC_Address, vcp.IP_Address, DATEADD(mi, DATEDIFF(mi, GETUTCDATE(), GETDATE()), vcpcd.LastRegisteredUTC) AS RegistrationTime FROM VoipCCMPhones vcp INNER JOIN VoipCCMMonitoring vcm ON vcm.ID =…
-
Hi, event won't work, but it should be possible via custom SQL alert. let me take a look on this.

Hi Joel, NTA latest version is 4.1.1 (not 4.3). The pre-policy and post-policy charts are good for understanding how QoS models class data. pre-policy means data arriving to the device and post-policy data where QoS applied limitation/priority. you should compare side by side pre and post policy and see if QoS limits the…

Hi, please contact Solarwinds support.

Hi Satish, I know that this is a bit old post but I'd like to ask you if you resolved your problem regarding Video Conference Monitor. thanks, Michal
-
Hi sfanklin, it seems to me that the fastest way to solve this problem is contact SolarWinds support (if you haven't already). If you can see CDRs on the FTP server that VNQM uses as data source, then it could be more things that may cause not polling FTP (wrong CDR ID sequence, problem with database connectivity, etc.)…

Hi, I paired that with your other request (FB11960)

Hi, have you tried to create a new report via Report Writer, choose "IPAM IP History " type and then use "Filter result" tab where you can limit result to reflect the network range you are interested in. thanks, Michal
-
Hi Deltona, just to make sure, the report should show only IP addresses that were ever assigned to some MAC address, correct?
-
Hi deverts, you should be able to add this operation via "add new IPLSA operation -> existing operation -> enter the IPSLA operation ID (something you need to get from your Cisco 881 device". IPSLA/VNQM will then import such existing operation. thanks, Michal
-
Hi, one of the possibility is to create an action that calls a simple script or an external program and send the email in HTML format.
-
Hi, thanks for good feedback. We would like to continue in Routing improvement so I took your comments on the list of things to do.

Hi, in IPAM you can create, modify or delete zone. There is currently no specific DHCP scope option for deactivation/activation of DHCP zone. Could you please elaborate more on the use case for this? thanks, Michal
