Oh, the code describes what the Grand prize is. Ahhhh, gotcha.
-
I confirm it's still happening
-
Really?!?! So, there is no reason to try to solve the puzzle. What's the point then? Am I missing something? Confused.
-
This sounds more like something a NAC solution would do, not a monitoring one.

Q11 - Answer not provided: No, but I would be interested in that. Our support staff would love to be able to access the application through their tablets, prevent them the need to go back to their PC to query it.

Very sorry and shocked to hear the news. He did not seem that old.... To all who knew him, my thoughts are with you on this difficult time. I thought he personified very well the "old school" tech, introvert, silent, not flamboyant, funny. Rest in Peace.

Lucky you, I guessed and missed

How does one submit the Grand Prize code? I figured it out but don't what to do next?
-
Wow, you WILL need your own zip code!

Sorry, it doesn't cut it for me. I've tried to create a report 4 or 5 times with this and never manage to get even close to what I was looking for. It does not allow for slightly complex reporting, much less difficult arrangements. To me, this is good if all you're looking for is a list of something. Don't try to do…

Good advise, only in this case, ICMP was also blocked. We have many zones behind many firewalls (like about 15 to 20). It would not be economically viable to put polling engines in each ones. But thank you for the suggestion.
-
Ok, in a report or in a window on screen?
-
are you talking about this?
-
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks bud.

Ok, found out what it means The power supply in the FEX are not plugged in, so the system can see them but it knows that no power is coming from them, so it give an alarm.
-
Thank you for answering. This is what I see in my "edit node" management option: That makes me believe that there is an alarm set up to warn me of High CPU load But when I look in my "manage alerts", I don't see any alerts: Am I missing something?

Let me answer you from my own experience I had a little less than a dozen devices that became 'down' in NPM all of a sudden. I am able to login into the devices, they all show to be up, working, healthy, etc. I went back to the NPM and started to look at the devices configuration, checked it, nothing had changed but NPM…
-
Thank you neomatrix, but can I ask.... what does that mean in plain English? :-)
-
Anyone know if this has been tackled with NPM 11.0?
-
It's much worst at home.....
-
Hi Brejnevn I find your question a little lacking in details. What do you mean by "curves" exactly?
-
Hi Without seeing exaclty how you configured your alarm, I am making an assumption here. I'm assuming that your alarm is configured for a status change between 6 AM and 6 PM. What I would recommend you do is make an alarm that runs once at 6AM to let you know if the status is down. If it is, the alarm alerts you, if it's…

Hi Damian I've been working with SW support on this for close to 6 months and there is a fix on UDT 3.1. I recommend you install the update and then select all devices that generate the error, go into "edit node". Under UDT Node Properties, you'll see the option "Disable VRF context polling" Select it and it should clear…

Try her: maria.bungau She should be able to help you.

Well, to honestly answer your question, here is what I would need: A list of all sites with names A list of all devices at each site with type of device and quantities (Switches, routers, servers, firewalls, appliance, workstations, printers, etc) Mention which sites are the DC(s) A list of all links between all sites with…

Reporting Reporting in NPM Su-ucks and Blo-ows if you have no knowledge of SQL Query. It just Blo-ows if you do. I prefer to do reports in Access than NPM.

OK, I found some more information that allowed me to go further with this project, but I'm stuck again. Here is my query: ${SQL:SELECT NodeIPAddress.InterfaceIndex, Interfaces.Caption FROM [dbo].[NodeIPAddress] ON ospfNbrIpAddr=NodeIPAddress.IPAddress INNER JOIN [dbo].[Interfaces] ON Interfaces.InterfaceID =…
