Thank you for the response kstone. It happened that Kiwi had a patch to fix this. All well post that. We did load testing with 20KMPH.

Some functions are limited to licensed version. The license cost of Kiwi is well worth spent. Been using Kiwi for many many years now. It stood the test of time.

Thank you for the response. We realized that it was related to a patch. Syslogd was crashing on TCP load.

Found this in 9.6.7 release notes. Issue: User-created Python or Visual Basic scripts do not execute as expected when run on Kiwi Syslog Server. Resolution: * Install the Active Scripting engine for any new languages that you want to script in. * Install Python for Windows Extension to access the Win32 API.

We also run multiple instance with few in HA as well. We do similar to what kstone mentioned. Create a standard set and copy it over to multiple servers and do an import. If you copy the file in syslogd folder then it will pick it directly while starting of the application.

9.6.7 works well.

We had similar issue with TCP traffic. If the traffic is beyond basic speed it was crashing. We were given a patch. HTH
