"There is something you should understand about the way I work. When you need me but do not want me, then I must stay. When you want me but no longer need me, then I have to go. It's rather sad, really, but there it is." -Nanny McPhee (2005) Fighting fire after fire, IT Pros rarely get to stick around for the praise and…

Completed as well. Unfortunately, we are no longer using the program otherwise my score would have been higher!

Question 2 might need some tweaking... two of the values are clearly listed in two different sources: the hint provided and the subpage... https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/KSS/Content/System_Requirements/KSS_9-7_system_requirements.htm

Orion doesn’t have a sun dial... apparently SD = Sun Dial. Good to know.

First our virtual cloud when down taking with it all our email connectors and automated alerts. Then the actual weather kept all the tech awake during the long evening with a tremendous thunderstorm. All we needed was a flashlight to tell the horror stories with.

Ditto. I have a sneaking suspicion that the gift card is awarded based on time of reviewed status (by G2) rather than time submitted (by the user).

That is true. It just takes that one company to set the trend. An economist would site the Gas-Station model-- if the station across the street sales the same gas at X, the other stations often match over time.

#4 Across was DEliciously evil... I ended up going after the jumbled phrase first and worked backward. Took far longer than I'd like to admit. Once we got it, definitely facepalmed. Thank you for the lovely crossword puzzle

Question 8 is actually around the 27 minute mark. These last few hints have been off by +/- 5 minutes typically. Good excuse to watch the videos though...

Took it this morning (6/27).

Yeah, #6 or 1/28 has multiple correct answers but it will only take one of them. Hint, its not simulate traffic, even though that is in the article.
-
Definitely read from the very beginning.

Nice pictures. Can't wait to see the winning captions. No place to enter ID for completion though.

Got me as well...

Be careful with #9 - I'm not sure why but I've got a red X despite following the All Caps and no spaces convention... Loved #6 - that was the one that was the easiest to answer for WoTC D&D~

Same here.

Got me too on that one. I suppose the leading paragraph on pg 16 is supposed to imply the necessity for it.
-
Excellent survey. This is one of the more meaningful ones I have filled out. Thank you for providing it.
-
Happy Birthday~ Excellent trivia and as always, thank you for the thwack points.

Some were very challenging. Managed to get 100% though. Very thoughtful questions this month.

AWS has a few free tier options for this very purpose. The servers are very tiny but it still good practice to tinker.

As an MSP provider that heavily uses the web to connect remotely to clients and to vendor support pages....not to mention the almighty Google...we may be out of business. Unless the parent company subscribes to these higher tier plans that allow unrestricted access, we would have to be creative. It will be like taking a…

Major kudos are in order for this month. KungFu Panda is by far one of my favorite movie series so thank you for making it the theme of this Month's mission.

As an MSSP engineer, I don't get into the weeds unless I have to in order to diagnose an issue. All those criteria listed are often your first suspects. Not sure that this is a correct question when it comes to real world endeavors.

Another to join the party :(

Regrettably found that out when I figured out 5. (facepalm) Ah well. Another hint for 6 - the name of the Wizard is in the title of a book published as part of a box set in January 2022. 4) Leeroy Jenkins' rallying cry was first utter in this online game popular in the early 2000s and made a resurgence in recent years.

Still confusing... I selected the Presenters in this session option after reviewing the comments and got it wrong

As a warning to those of who submitted their review on 12/28, you likely won't be getting a gift card. I got an email this morning stating that I had missed the cut-off for the gift card even though I submitted my review yesterday in the AM.

The poem-generator was a fun way to start the day. For best results, be sure to pick a computer virus. I went with human viral and got some interesting results~

Fortunately, we are an MSSP and have no retail clients. We will largely be unabashed by the madness.
