If your NetFlow exporter is on the Nated side you will not be able to see the original IP as it has been translated.

Hello patturajb, The best way to understand how SolarWinds products work is to download and try them. They are free for 30 days. Some of the nice things you will find are * Integration between Orion Network Performance Manager (NPM) and NTA so that you don't have to go looking in two different places to get a full vies of…

Wouldn't it make more sense to use a set % utilization instead? Otherwise you will get alerts that say things like CPU reached 21%.

Thanks for the great intro Haley! I'm thrilled to be at SolarWinds and actively participating in Thwack. If any of you Thwack users are at Interop next week come by our booth and say hi.

IP SLA operations won't automatically update to reflect a change in network IP schema, I would expect to have to go find the operations and fix them after the target's IP address changed.

I'm not seeing any significant difference in the total bytes day-to-day, so the % as a single digit looks to be consistent. Can you look at the graph of this interface for a few days and see if it looks consistent with what you are seeing here? Andy

Were you able to solve these issues?

Before a node goes to down status it goes into warning status. This will cause the packet loss to trigger. Add "Node Status is not equal to Warning" and you should be OK.
-
I would start by modifying the Top 10 view.

Hi Don, Did you try rediscovering the device in Orion? Andy
-
Hi pguenther, This is a very good question - shows some good thought and planning. I don't think Netflow will overwhelm your 10Mb link alone, but it will have to share bandwidth (b/w) with user traffic. I would first look at your peak and average b/w is now and historically and determine how close to full the link is. If…

Can you walk the MIB and look for interface stats? If they are in a private table you could build a UnDP poller for them.

This is controled by the Node Warning Level setting. From NPM Admin Guide. Node Warning Level Devices that do not respond to polling within this designated period of time display as Down in the web console. By default, this value is 120 seconds.

Check out the Tech Ref on performance. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/OrionPerformance.pdf

You can't clear one trap from another one but Message Center will always show you the most recent. If the device sends an on battery trap followed by an on line power trap you will see both.
-
Did you recently add this node? Try chnaging the time frame to last hour.

Hi Corey, That is an ugly number! I'll enter this as a feature request to round to 1 place after the decimal. Andy

Hi Tim, This is on the roadmap. Andy

Is this an evaluation or are you an existing customer?

Add Volume type = Fixed Disk to the trigger

The multiple object chart is the one you want. I think that doc needs to be updated. Can you reply with the URL of that PDF? Thanks!

Hi, Can you provide some more information? Maybe a screen shot and more detail about the issue?
