You can do it with a table but not with dials. The two use the same polling period. I have added the Poll now resource so you can see the current rate.

The traffic seen in the "Last 15 Minutes" resources are updates every 60 seconds. How real-time do you need to see?

Hi Byron, I have a document on app management in the content exchange area but it is probably more basic than what you need. I'll put this one on my list as I believe it would be helpful to a lot of Thwackies. Andy

You should be able to do this using the ICMP Echo operation Operations also allow VRF names.

Can you open a ticket on this one?

There is a UnDP for the 3750 stack. You can edit it and add the power supply OIDs.
-
Do you mean the Custom Properties feature?

Take a look at the NetFlow Settings-> Applications and Service Ports. Make sure it is set to Enable All Monitoring (or Monitor All Ports) depending on version.

Hello, I am a little confused. It looks like you are looking for a way to do what you have posted as an example. Also, what product are you using for this? It looks like NPM but I'm not sure. Andy

There are a couple of ways to achieve this. If your trunk links have something like "trunk" in their names you could add the condition to only trigger if the interface name contains "trunk". You could also add a custom property like "trunk" and assign that to each trunk interface. Then you would edit the alert so the it…
-
I am assuming you are using a top level "any" condition group for those two groups. It may be that by including both condition in one alert you are bypassing the implicit dependency logic. I would cut this into two seperate alerts and you should be OK.

Hi bishop7, ...for some of our hosts I notice their traffic appears in more than one queue. Some of our traffic appears in our higher class traffic queue (AF21, using WFQ) as well as the scavenger queue (CS0, again using WFQ) -- is there any reason why it appears in more than one QoS queue? ... Wouldn't a host using…

What are you seeing as the export interface index number on the PCAP?
-
Hi Freeman, You'll have to contact customer service on this. They can correct the issue. Andy
-
If you have the same interfaces that are always down you could mark them as unmanaged and they won't trigger the alert.
-
Hi Contracer - I'm not too clear on what the issue is. Are you able to open Advancced Alert Manager from All Programs -> SolarWinds Orion -> Alerting, reporting...?

To make sure I have a clear picture of the setup, do these UPS have IP addresses of their own or are they only reachable through the servers? What tool are you using to see the UPS data on the servers? I doubt that the servers have the UPS MIB which is why you cannot poll those OIDs from the server's IP address.

This will help reclaim some logo space. In the settings page go to Web Console settings. There is an option to replace the logo with a blank logo (NoLogo.gif).

Can you add some specifics about how many SAN devices, their general size and brand/models? We can better address the question with some more specific information.
-
Hi Chandru, Are you having trouble configuring CBQoS on the devices or having trouble with the CBQoS feature in NTA? Andy
-
There are no mainframe specific features but we can report on host MIB stats if the system has a host MIB and responds properly to SNMP.

I suggest you open a ticket with support on this one. Andy

Here are a couple of suggestions from the School of Hard Knocks. * Don't under-power your SQL server. If you can use a dedicated SQL with RAID 10, 15K X 6 spindles, or SSD. SSD rocks and is comparable in price to 15K spindle drives. * Optimize the web engine. IDK where the post is but there is a very helpful optimization…

You get to the ToS View by clicking on a ToS listed in the ToS table at the Node or Interface level.

I have seen this happen when the export timer is not set to 1 minute or the link speed is not correct. http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/1407/NetFlow+Interface+resource%28s%29+show+utilization+peaks+higher+than+NPM+utilization+or+higher+than+the+interface+bandwidth

Please open a ticket on this one. Looks like a bug.

Are you able to manage the update/reboot times? If so, just use the unmamage tool to block out the time. It is in the Customer Portal Under Additional Components. http://www.solarwinds.com/customerportal/additionalcomponents.aspx

There are a couple of items you could check. Are all the 3845s on the same IOS level. Were they all configured from within IP SLAM? View the config and look for any errors in the configured operation types. If you can post the confog (minus IP) I can chechk it

You can multi-select the user ports in Node Management, click the "Display as unplugged..." check box then alter the interface alert as shown below.

Looks like a few things are missing there. I suggest you open a ticket on this one.
