The use case is not entirely clear to me but Multiple Object Chart looks like the correct solution.

NPM does ICMP fast polling for any element that fails to respond during a regularly scheduled ICMP poll cycle. That is why up is detected so quickly. I don't follow the rest of your question.
-
Couldn't you accomplish this by settting an alert threshold on CurrentTemp?
-
It may be what the exporter is sending. I'd try a packet capture on the Orion server and look at the cflow packets.
-
Can You post a screen shot on the alert you are configuring?
-
Sent you a PM on this.

Hi Warbird, The eval version is good for unlimited nodes. Make sure the nodes are in Orion first then add them in IP SLAM. Let me know if this helps. Andy
-
Hi, I'm not sure what you are asking. Do you want to create an alarm for that condition? Andy
-
Are the NPM and Cacti servers in the same location? I would do a continuous ping (-t) from each, if they are in the same location and see oif you get different results.
-
Sounds like the ASA is blocking the IP SLA operations between the routers.

You could use a simple alert to change a custom property when a node is down in the 10 minute window prior to after hours and add that custom property as a factor in the advance alert. Create "suspended" custom prop Simple alert = from 3:50 to 4:00 if down change custom prop to suspended = true. After hour advanced alert…

If the devices keeps route data in a MIB you probably can. Have you done a MIB walk on the device?
-
Are you seeing this behavior in a test fire of an actual alert? test fires ignore the timer.
-
The unmanage scheduler will do this. It is in the Customer Portal under Additional Components -NPM.

Have you checked out the content Exchnage area?

For 1 check the time/date on the SQL server and the NPM server. For 2 can you post a screen shot?

Here is what we have found to work Orion Server + Modules Quad Core Processor 3GHz or better 16-32 GB RAM 2 x 146GB 15k Hard Drives (RAID 1/Mirrored Settings) The Orion server only needs 10-20GB’s of space so whatever size here will suffice. 1GBE NIC Windows 2003/2008 Server (64-bit) with IIS installed, running in 32-bit…

It looks like the disk number is not defined in the poller, so that data is not in the database.

That suppression will trigger if there is any instance of a row ID starts with 10 in the entire database. You should move the suppression to the trigger and reverse the logic. Unfortunately Row ID does not start with X is not an option today. What you could do is go ahead and create the alert with the stats with in the…

To interpret the logic in nested conditions start at the most indented level and see if that condition could be true. Then go up one level and consider the level you just examined as a member of the level above it. In short, evaluate all items that iare indented tothe same level together. I have attached your trigger with…

Is the server configured to send traps to NPM?
-
Is SQL running on a VM? If so, this will not work well.
-
Typically that graph would be seen in NPM. What are you seeing in the NPM node view for the FW?
-
Can you tell me about the Orion environment? How many elements? Where is the SQL server and what is it's set up? Do you have other modules running?

See this Tech Ref. " If Windows pass-through is not removed it will interfere with AD login. For more information about pass-through security, see the appropriate Administrator Guide." http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/UnderstandingOrionADAuthentication.pdf

I have been seeing short periods of 100% CPU util on our 12 core, 2.5G processor. I see the JE2 workers as well and our JE2 has 2.1 billion queued jobs. I'm also working this through support. NPM 10.6 SAM 6.01 NTA 3.11

It appears you do not have an admin role. Do you login as the admin? If so you can adjust your role to allow this. Also EW required the NPM integration module be in place.
