Th 20GB is for the Orion server. The SQL serever will require quite a bit more. See this doc for a better understanding of the requirements and recommendations. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/OrionPerformance.pdf

What type of monitoring are you doing? (NPM, APM?)
-
The VoIP Monitor module uses Cisco IP SLA operations on Cisco devices to measure call quality site-to-site. You can add Cisco VoIP hardware natively into the module. For other VoIP gear you can the Orion UnDP to monitor them. Andy

You can truncate summary 2 and 3. If you use on demand DNS resolution your DNS tables will get truncated upon db maintenance. You can make that setting in NetFlow Settings. You will lose the top domains resource as we won't be tracking those.
-
You would have to write a custom SQL report. If you are a SQL guru or know one here is that table you would use.
-
Ensure that SNMP is set to automatic and the the proper Conmmuniy stringds are in place.

I found this one in Content Exchange. You can alter the time frames.

Hi Larry, If the database contains Primary and Standby as possible states then this will not worjk as the condition will always be true. If the database only contains these when they exist as a true condition you will be OK.

For q1 - Yes, it is probably best to create 2 alerts if you have a set of servers that you always want to be alerted on, and another set where you need to add time supperssion. Advanced Alert Manager has a tab where you can specify the times and days the alert is active. I would use the groups feature to make the 2 sets of…

Not natively but you can add the functionallity in Orion Universal Device Poller.

The average line represents the average for each data point, so if the circuit is maxed out during a 1 hour data point then avg = max for that period. The individual data points for the average do not take into account other data points outside that data period. Andy

If you know what switch it is on then you could use toolset switch port mapper.

See the Call Managers area in the VoIP summary view.

Do the accounts show up under Account List in the web admin interface? What version are you using?
-
Did you get this figured out? It looks like a firewall config issue, not a NetFlow issue. The firewall logs should tell you what is being blocked.
-
If you want to see who is hogging bandwidth why not just use the top N reports?
-
Orion Fail Over Engine (FoE) does this. SolarWinds Orion Failover Engine (FoE)– Never lose visibility You will need a solution for the SQL server as well as FoE does not touch SQL.

The problem is that suppression conditions are evaluated separately from the trigger conditions. This means that is you have any of those suppression condition true the alert is suppressed. To correct this you have to flip the suppression logic and put it in the trigger condition. See this tip and this tech ref…

It should show up quickly, within a couple of minutes. Are you hitting a licensing limit?

We report of CBQoS and CBQoS drops.

It would be detected and corrected at the next scheduled discovery.

Various applications use ports 6970 - 6999 but this range is most often referred to as Quicktime. 6970-6999 or a subset of those ports is often used for BitTorrent. It's just an inherent limitation of an analysis that is port based. NBAR was created to solve problems like this.

2008 has some built in firewalls. Have you checked those? Which one works?

I suggest you use the Toolset MIB Browser and see what is available in the device MIB. You might find an OID for member status or such. I looked through the MIB but nothing was obviuos as member status to me. Here is the Juniper MIB for reference. http://www.oidview.com/mibs/2636/JUNIPER-MIB.html

Hi andressk, That error non-specific to a single cause. Can you open a support ticket on this one? Andy
-
Just manage all the active nprobe server interfaces in NPM, and set in to 1 and out to 2.
-
Hi Bryan, If you call support and open a ticket they can walk you through the fix. Andy
