The problem with the tabs is it pushes you to multiple panes of glass. I'm not a believer in the SPOG ever becoming a reality, but I like to avoid separate views and the hunt for the cheese.

This only DLs as a file named UploadedFile. That file will not import when the name is changed. Can you re-upload the UnDP file?

Very nice! Thanks for sharing.

This feature has been requested for years. Please get it on the road map! Thanks!
-
Thanks for the great feedback!
-
Thanks all! Let me know how what you see when it's deployed.

Hi Bryan, This is a feature request I am tracking, and a god idea! Thanks - Andy

Hi Debbi, It looks like you example is valid. <If an interface's full name contains CTRX or CTX, AND its interface status = Down, the criteria have passed.> As always move one, test then move more. Andy

It does not sound like this would require custom SQL. What are you trying to alert on?
-
Discovery lets you choose which interfaces to import. Are you able to get to that point?

Here is a good thread on RAID and Orion/SQL with NTA.

It will support any flow capable interfaces you have in your NPM 2000 license. Note that the NTA and NPM licences levels must match. NetFlow NL2000 wil only work on NPM SL2000.

Hi Justin, When you use the Search NetFlow Endpoint resource and chosse an IP to search this table is used. It can become a rather large table and we are looking at how to lessen it's impact. Andy

This is because NPM is calculating disk space as decimal (1000X) while the system calculates it as binary (1024X). There is a feature request now to allow for binary or decimal. This has been correcteed in NPM v10.0.

That is very odd. I am monitoring my SQL server with no issue. When you use the exact same credentials in SQL Manager Express does it work?
-
Not unless you have defined a template. Please note that we do not support templated v9 data.
-
I wish I knew the answer on this one as it would help me too. Maybe someone from SWI can respond?

Check the disk queue on the SQL server. This symptom is normally caused by a SQL server that is not keeping up with writes. Any other information on the servers will be helpful (RAID, hardware et cetera)

Hello Guy, NPM uses Microsoft SQL server and 2005 in one of the supported versions. If you want to configure NPM to access your existing SQL server use the Configuration Wizard Start -> All Programs -> SolarWinds Orion -> Configuration and Discovery - Configuration Wizard. Select the database option and point NPM to your…

IMO this is another call for SWI to come up with a true remote poller. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe "remote" pollers still need to appear local (very fast WAN link) and are still considered additional pollers to a local Orion core. The model of multiple cores spread across geographies glued together w/ EOE was…

I'm not sure of the MIB support for Asterisk but you could try to add these using Orion UnDP. They won't show up in VoIP monitor. The Cisco gateway MIB that shows active calls is broken and Cisco has no promise to repair it.

I'd get rid of iproute-cache flow and replace with ip flow ingress ip flow egress on the WAN IF config
-
I don't see the error message.

When you access the Orion web pages from the Orion server you are accessing local URLs, so DNS and the network are not involved. When you access remotely and there are DNS or other issues hindering HTTP you will have problems. I'd look for a network issue causing the loss of connectivity. I assume you are accessing the NCM…

IP SLA does use your routing protocol and you can choose the port it uses to send the test traffic. IP SLA Settings This page presents general options regarding your configuration of IP SLA Manager. From the IP SLA Manager Settings page, you can configure: • The port through which IP SLA Manager sends simulated traffic

No but Orion NPM does that quite well.

Go to SQL Server Management and open the dbo.Accounts table. See if the Admin account has AllowAdmin set to N. If so, change to Y.

Alerts don't have a built in prioroty setting so you would create 2 alerts. One for the warning level and the second for the critical level. Use warning and critical in the alert actions messages. If you make the warning one just copy that and edit to a critical one. makes it a lot easiier.

How many interfaces of what size will be NetFlow exporters?
-
Yes. That ability is mostly an OS feature. Just make sure you can ping each network from the OS and you'll be good.
