Absolutely - I'll have an SE contact you
-
Angel, How many elements do you have on that server? Can you give more specifics about the NPM server, SQL server and any modules? Andy
-
True - I believe this is templated data and we don't support v9 templates today.
-
I would group the remote routers by site and assign site Class using custom properties.
-
Take a look at the edit options for the response time graph
-
I'll have to defer to my lead developer on this one.

If you have Toolset it had a great MIB Browser. If you don't have Toolset you can DL it and use it for free for 21 days www.solarwinds.com/.../ Go to the call manager and browse the MIBS Look for one called CCM or CCME. If you find that one expand it and send me the list of OIDS in it. Andy
-
Let me know if you run into issue - I'll help you out. Andy
-
Here is a sample of what you should see when using the MIB Browser in the IF MIB.
-
I am talking with dev on this.

Do you have Automatic addition of NetFlow sources enabled? Check in NetFlow Settings.
-
Here it is...
-
Look at the device in NPM. Verify that you are manaiging it using 107.1.85.66.
-
Id like to use this as an example in an upcoming paper on alerting.
-
Hi count, Sorry for the delay. There is a lot more art than science in determining requirements for NetFlow. Some of the factors are knowable, like number of interfaces, interface size, average utilization but many are not knowable like total IP address range seen in flows, average conversation duration, etc. What I can…
-
No, unfortunately we don't. From your original post it looks like the NetFlow config is already on the device. Is this the case?
-
The alert I show above is from the Advanced Alert Manager. It is the "Alert me when an Interface goes down" canned alert which I have edited. Take a look at this paper which can help understand the Advance Alert Manager. http://www.solarwinds.com/support/Orion/docs/UnderstandingOrionAdvancedAlerts.pdf

Hi Don, For some reason your IOS is not populating the VoIP IF in the IF table. Have you checked w/ Cisco on this? Andy
-
That's great feedback. I'll note this as a feature enhancement request. Andy
-
How many teams do you have? The most direc method is to create an alert per email DL. You can have the node name inserted in the alert text using a variable. Here is a better example of the alert.
-
Status polls are ICMP. Statistics polls are SNMP. In the v10 interface they are pretty well defined. The top group are all status/response and the lower ones are statistics.
-
So that I can get the right person to assist you, are you evaluating NTA or have you already purchased?
-
You are correct that support is not the place to go for an evaluation. Are you working with a pre-sales engineer? If not, I can have one contact you if you want.
-
Can you open a ticket on this please?
-
That error is usually due to specifying an alert object that does not exist in the database. Have you created the Exchange group? If so, are you sure that you have entered the exact group name correctly? If you want to check the database directly using SQL Management Studo, your group will be in the dbo.Containers table.
-
Yes - Corona is quite good too.
-
I have seen a box they sell a Sigma Solutions that has SQL running partially on RAM Disk. It's a Sun box running windows.
-
Can you post the NTA screen you are using.
-
Router is caching and exporting properly and you previously demonstrated that the NTA collector sees NTA data. The only possibility is that there is something in the path from the exporting routers to the collector dropping the flow data. I edited out the unnecesary portion of the verbose cache output to help make this…

SALX is an unlimited licence for IP SLA Manager (formerly VoIP Monitor). It does everything VoIP Monitor did but adds a bunch of IP SLA operations. I think it's very cool. Here is a paper on IP SLA. And here is a paper on transitioning from VoIP monitor to IP SLA Manager. Andy
