Let me look into this and communicate back.
-
It's not slated to last out to December. Part of the decision will be determined by the beta testers feedback but I would probably bank on only a few weeks at most since we want to continue buttoning up code completion. Hope this helps,,,

Take a look at this release. The option for tech approvals within tech UI has been added. Web Help Desk 12.5 Release Candidate is Available!

Sure thing production is not required! In fact, we don't want production touched. What I was suggesting for those that wanted to test dashboards using their production data is to produce a COPY of the production DB for them to play with. Part of the reasoning behind this beta was to address scale and performance which is…

There were problems with (mainly on clients) creating tickets using request types that were assigned to tech groups due to methods in which we were communicating with the messaging server. ACTUAL RESULTS --------------------------------------------------------- It takes too much time to see the confirmed screen. Customers…
-
Is there any provision to restrict techs from changing request type of ticket in new update? - No, will take this under consideration. Ticket approval status should be visible to clients. After raising a ticket clients do not have any way to know on which approval state the ticket is pending. Then the users have to call…

SDS is a market segment we are keeping an eye on. Is there someone that would be willing to help me define use cases to help further my research into this segment? I also have questions over licensing etc...
-
Sorry - Some of that information (Beta is really a rough draft of items that we need some feedback on) is only available upon joining. You are welcome to come on in if you are under maintenance.
-
Thanks - In case you didn't see the internal post by me - we are looking to end the Beta Sept 30th.

Can you run the winrm set winrm/config/client @{TrustedHosts="*"} from a Windows CMD Prompt ("run as administrator") on all of the polling engines if you haven't done so already?
-
To recap - On the Orion server - Running winrm set winrm/config/client @{TrustedHosts="*"} from a Windows CMD Prompt ("run as administrator") you receive the error you had posted (copy below). What's confusing me is the Powershell Script Error listed in your error output which is not what I would expect to see as part of…

As it@cristoreybalt.org had stated - Please call the support team for assistance on this.
-
How about an output of winrm get winrm/config/client from the target server TrustedHosts line should have the IP of the Orion server listed Are you running additional polling engines?
-
My initial thoughts are to leverage WHD Dashboards and allow adding asset type widgets. Question is - what OOB widgets would you like to see in a dashboard?
-
Thanks for the feedback. I particularly like the asset dashboard idea and will be looking more into this since we are currently looking at Assets within the product. Polling was genius!

RabbitMQ is used between APE's and Primary engine to communicate. It's not SAM specific and is part of the core Orion architect. If the port required for RabbitMQ isn't accessible Orion will attempt to fall back to using MSMQ.

Sure thing, Unfortunately we couldn't fit it into 12.5 so this is lined up in the next release (following 12.5 about to be released). I will further review with development and work to ensure it remains in focus.

There is ldap_connection table where setup of ldap is stored. Can they use a local client account to log in first? Want to be certain to log in using a local account before changing the table. (Client account can be connected to Tech, so then logging via Client credentials you should have access to both Client and Tech…

typhoon87 Nothing offhand but I can look into it and perhaps see if anyone internally might offer up something short term until we can get into addressing custom fields as a whole (I see the vote request with a laundry list of to-do's for custom fields).

Thanks for reminding me. I'll look into an update on this.

Can you provide DFM / NetApp Info? I've seen one other case on SRM 6.3. But somehow it mysteriously resolved itself by the time we hopped on a call with the customer. Is there interest in bumping up to the latest version on SRM? If you call support - please PM me the support case for me to stay involved.
-
I've created an internal feature request. Thanks again for the input and detailed description!

Can see one (3Par) on the SW Demo site; http://oriondemo.solarwinds.com/Orion/SRM/ArrayDetailsView.aspx?NetObject=SMSA:26

chinmaychavan and jmcsparin could you post your support ticket numbers for me? We have several cases closely related - one fixed in 12.5 and the other we are still working on it. Thanks!
