I'm really sorry about the timing of this arivas​ We absolutely looked in to the option of open sourcing. Unfortunately it wasn't feasible for us to do so for many reasons. I'm sorry I cannot elaborate, but we spent a significant amount of time investigating this option.

nrms, I'm glad you like the new changes! Remember, this is still very early and we plan to get a lot more done for this release :-) Regarding the node de-dup. You are correct, this is only for newly added nodes. We will not be "cleaning up" the old nodes (some people might have legitimate dups).
