Thank you mcourchaine! This is absolutely something we are exploring. Really appreciate the feedback.

Hello and thank you for this feature request! Would you mind if I reach out to you directly to chat more about this?
-
As soon as we have something publicly available, I'll certainly let you know.
-
Hello and thank you for the request. This has been discussed briefly in the past and there are some concerns we're working through. I can reach out to you to chat more. Thanks again!
-
Hi Michael, I'm the PM for Pingdom and would love to talk to you more about this. I will follow up via email.
-
Thank you for the post! Certainly sounds reasonable, I will investigate and get back to you. At minimum, I agree we should at least provide some in line UI validation with useful error messages. Thanks again.
-
Hello Jose. Right now we are targeting early December release of having CRUD support for the Pingdom Public Transaction Monitoring API. I will reach out to you when ready to test. I appreciate your reaching out.
-
Hi Jeremy, thanks for the feedback and I'm glad to hear you like the new feature. Although it's intended to provide additional context to the alert recipient so that he/she can easier resolve the issue and not built with a client necessarily in mind, it makes a lot of sense and something we will consider. Thanks again!…

Hello rinat.kirimov, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are actually designing this solution for quickest deployment possible as this is a common feature request and something we've been trying to get done and deployed. Quick question for you: would it be acceptable for you to have a preset number of days to be…
-
Scott, we are of the same mind. This is certainly part of the plan and a common request. Thank you for the feedback!
-
acronis_chansen what great timing! We are actually right in the middle of implementing this at this very moment. We should have something late next month to show. Would you be willing to review what we've done? I'd love to get your feedback. "Pingdom as a Service" is a key initiative for me which would provide public API…

Hi stevenstadel, I'm curious which events would you like to correlate and what problems would they help you solve? Thanks so much!

Hey there bitsofinfo, I just wanted to let you know that we have officially added JSON support as the request body schema in our Public API 3.1 and updated the documentation: https://docs.pingdom.com/api/. There's a description that is shown for the endpoints also - the user can click the dropdown to see the 2 different…
-
The changes we are working on are not breaking which is why we can add it to our Public API version 3.1. Adding proper JSON support should not affect any existing integrations that our customers have, and since you are using URL-encoded parameters, you should be fine with the changes made. Once there's JSON support a user…
-
Hello bitsofinfo we've started the work and plan to have it done, tested and documented middle of next week. We also plan to not release it as 3.2 but add it to 3.1 as it is not a breaking change nor require any change from your side to be compatible, it is just an extension. I will post again here when it's been released.
-
Thanks bitsofinfo, I agree and I'm having our devs fix this with JSON support in our 3.1 docs. I'll be back in touch here once released.
-
bitsofinfo, we've now updated our documentation. Please take a look and let me how it works for you. Pingdom API
-
Will do. Again, I appreciate your feedback and patience. If you ever have any issues, as a member of our Thwack community, you're welcome to reach out to me directly anytime. Although our technical support folks are indeed awesome.
-
Yes, we have this on the roadmap and I'd be happy to chat with you more offline as we get closer to implementation.
-
This should work. Would you mind if I reach out to you directly on Monday? We also having something in the works that will make our transaction checks much easier to build.
-
Thanks Matt, great feedback. Both are in research right now and I agree we should do both (SPA in RUM and some kind of Pingdom integration with Orion). I will reach out to chat more if you're open to that.
-
Thank you Eddie, for that great feedback. Although one can sort by Median Load Times in the RUM Performance Dashboard, a report would indeed be nice.
-
James, this is great feedback. Thanks so much for sharing.
-
Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. Is this for a transaction check?
-
Hi Dave, I have forwarded your info on and one of our implementation managers will be in touch with you right away. Is email fine?
-
Thanks for the feedback Samuel! We are considering this for sure. Page Speed throttling and emulating (emulating for mobile would be one feature there). We've had this request a few times, and I think it makes sense and is very valuable. Thanks again for the feedback. Keep it' coming!
-
Hello bitsofinfo . Thank you so much for the feedback. This is obviously quite embarrassing and somehow slipped through our QA. I deeply apologize for the issues. Thank you for catching and reporting them. Our developers are currently working on a fix: We’re fixing the documentation now. In short, our quick recommendation…
-
Thanks for the feedback, sebmel. We are currently looking into this, and I will keep you posted. More to come soon here.
-
Thank you James for that valuable feedback. Tags are a great way to manage your checks and it makes sense to extend this ability into our APIs. And it's great timing as we're working on our APIs currently. So, thanks again!
