I was able to get it to do a start up backup by downloading a template from the thwack templates.
-
The OID pulls an extended number that does not break down into years/weeks/days . I am able to display where it says 100% but providing information to higher up needs a more granular output.
-
Can you show me your results? Using the OID it displays 48485648948 hours. Providing this to a CIO does not show full validation. I am trying to pull what the switch displays in a sense of 1 year 23 week 3 day as an example.

what do you think may be the issue if I cannot get any tabs to load?
-
Do you think since I am on a trial the option will not show? We are in the middle of upgrading and moving everything.
-
Do you know if on NMP for the node down alerts if it has to be set as "not equal to up" in order to get the alerts? I think at a certain version on some devices you have to set it as that.
-
How can you get the serial number off all the devices when you have a stack of switches? i can view it going into the node, but the report only pull the 1 switch OID.
-
So I created 2 custom properties. Decommissioned: (drop down menu yes/no) Decommissioned_Date: (Date calendar algorithm) Add this work while putting the node in an unmanaged stated. The only issue I am having is using the event type to get a report that will show node unmanaged/decommissions for the past Xdays. I used the…

If I set it to send me a report every first of the month will it give me the total for the previous month? The updated total for that day since I have it setup to send me a day on utilization from 12am to the time it will send the email along with a total for the month or will it just send me a daily total for each day on…

Thanks for the quick response

Than you this worked. What other areas of Solarwinds are you good or have some experience with?
-
thank you I was able to get it working. I had to use a certain Sensor to get the correct temp alert. Cisco TAC sent me their cloud sight for OID
-
Would the widget be able to be a report to be emailed?
-
Is there a way to implement this without affect all users who log into solarwinds?
-
How do you set it to back up automatically? Sent from my iPhone
-
Is there a way I can add email to a node by the group I have the node in, rather than having to go to each node?
-
Engineers are in the default group which get the alerts. The alert does not send to the tech. I am trying find a way to alert the tech with their location so they are aware of outages or issues. I can easily add everyone in the default group, but no everyone needs to know about issues at other locations they do not support.

How would be able to create this on the gui? I used this to create my original report
-
Can you send me or share what you used for it to work in chrome?
-
Is there a way I can get this to work for chrome? I used your regedit and it did not work for IE
-
Would you be able to help me setup the temperature alert?
-
On another note do you know if NCM will make it easier to update software for stacked switches? I looked at he script someone posted and still reading through it to see where I need to make my changes. I know it is difficult or could be a wish list for NCM user to make it easier. Cisco Button for stack switches update

Do you know a template for the MDS 93965? I tried the one above and got an error below. Connectivity issues, discarding configuration (or configuration is too short)
-
In the interim I just created a Custom Property
-
Is there a way to export the solarwinds environment into solarputty? or into SecureCRT
-
I get an error. This is line 3 in the code No module named 'swisclient'
-
Would you be able to help me understand the script? I want try updating a stack switch using NCM. Not so good with scripting
-
Will SW make a new push or job for stacked switches? This should be something done on their end so users do not have to create a script. Most environments have more stacked switches rather than individuals.
-
Can you add a decommission option similar to how to have Maintenance Mode? Some work policies have to keep server/nodes information for so many months or weeks but keep it offline. The decommission mode could allow a use to set it for so many days or weeks before it completely removes it from Orion. Also you should be able…

Does the latest VNQM support the older avaya call manager 5.2?
