The DB Manager needs a user account with SA rights.

Try an Add/Remove on Orion -> select Repair then re-run the Configuration Wizard and point to that new DB created. You might even try repairs to the modules as well and see if that helps.

Hotfixes are listed in the install log. You can also look in the registry under hklm>software>solarwinds>NetFlowTrafficAnalyzer>HotfixVersion. All the NTA Hotfixes have been rolled up. The latest for v2.2 is Hotfix 4. You should not need to stop Orion and no reboot is necessary.

To remove this extra tab locate the My Computer c:\\->Inetpub-> Sloarwinds folder. In C:\InetPub\SolarWinds Locate any instances of a wireless module folder and delete them. Refresh the Web browser and that should clear out the extraneous tab.

It's simple. Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Database Utilities > Database Manager. Locate and right-click your database in the Database Manager tree in the left pane, and then click Backup Database. The IPAM and NPM Databases are not separate.
