When trying to load balance the pollers, it tells me to stop the pollers before proceeding. How do I stop the pollers? Have you tried using Programs-> SolarWinds Orion> Advanced Features -> Orion Service Manager to stop the services?

The new map will not become the defualt map unless you select it to be- -> for your specific group of Users- You may click on MAP -> Map properties and check the "Remove Nodes that users do not have permission to view" button.

Mathieu- Both SQL versions are supported and should work fine. Keep in mind SQL Express has a 4GB limit. You should not have performance issues having all 3 on the same server. If you intend on using Netflow one day then you would want to consider having SQL on a separate server.

Within the DB manager check the Engines ID table to verify the new DB is not referring to the old Engine ID - Also check the NODES table and see what Engine ID is listed- Mark Wiggans SolarWinds Support

-the Solarwinds service needs to be stopped, and the following query needs to be run on the database through the Database Manager: Delete from Pollers Where NetObject=’N:0’ Once done, restart the Solarwinds Services and the error will dissapear. Let us know if this helps-

You will need to re-register the following .dll to fix the 429 runtime error regsvr32 "c:\program files\solarwinds\common\swdiscoveryServices8.dll" Just copy the above command - (copy, paste, ok) - into the run window on the server (start > run). The 1720 is a file missing on the OS I believe-
