The license should prevent you from exceeding 2000 elements with a warning message.

The most efficient way to move your custom maps from the old server to the new is to use the Publish to Remote Web Server utility within Map Maker. Using this utility ensures all your custom maps, icons, and backgrounds correctly transfer. To copy your custom maps to the new Orion NPM server: 1. Click Start > SolarWinds…

The query is joining the AlertDefinitions table to the ActionDefinitions table. The problem is that an alert can have more than one action. So, with this query, every alert is going to be listed once for each action defined for that alert. Except for the last column (which is based on the action), these rows will look like…

very nice, thanks for sharing!

I just sent you a PM

You can have the alert trigger a page when a certain condition has held true for a certain amount of time.
-
This would not be possible without extensive customizations. I think you could create 70 views and add each as a custom menu item, which needless to say, is not ideal.

some suggestions- http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/2238/Receiving+redundant+alerts+in+ipMonitor. http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/1858/How+can+I+decrease+ipMonitor%92s+CPU+resource+usage+when+large+amounts+of+monitors+fail.

My suggestion would be to try contacting support directly. 866.530.8040 and asking for an update to the case. Or maybe try posting this issue here for possible resolution?

Here is one from the Content Sharing Zone

Do you have traps running on an additional poller?
-
SP1 needs to be applied to the Hot Standby Server.
-
You can uninstall through the Control Panel. There is a release candidate out that may include what you are looking for.

Only users who have Orion NPM node management rights or Orion EOC administrator roles may run Orion Network Atlas.

The blue one is "Fast Ethernet", the purple upside down one is either "Proprietary Virtual" or "Other".

To add poller resources to web console views: 1. Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Universal Device Poller. 2. In the All Defined Pollers pane of the Orion Universal Device Poller window, click +, as necessary, to expand the poller tree, and then click the poller you want to add as a web console resource.…

10 second granularity is not possible. I believe the shortest data point interval would be 60 seconds from your historical data.

Go to Manage Accounts and edit the users account In the account properties go to the Network Performance Monitor settings In the Node Details View option verify that this is also set to “By Device Type” Also have you applied SP1?

Install NCM first and then the Integration. Here are the Release Notes www.solarwinds.com/.../releaseNotes.htm Click on "Installing this Version" in the right column. There is also some good info here and in these other threads:

Could you post the error messages here if any or elaborate on your issues and maybe we can help? I'm also curious to as to what your case number is and I can verify the status for you-

Packet loss is calculated from the number of ICMP packets that are dropped when polling the node. Run a sniffer trace to that device using Ethereal or WireShark. If you are not seeing missing data, then you can be pretty sure that no SNMP packets are being lost, but the sniffer capture would tell you for certain.

You can try installing the attached file and see if it resolves the issue for you? Backup both the BandwidthGauge.dll and Bandwidth-Gauges.exe from your Toolset Folder. After these are backed up, extract the contents of the attached zip into the folder. Run this new version as a test only to see if this yields correct…

Orion is looking for the old server name- Verify what the Engine ID table reflects in the DB- also verify that the Nodes ID table is the same.
-
Thanks for pointing this out!
-
Currently this is not possible. You could possibly try to create a custom page with certain reports/network elements that you want to view...and use the report scheduler to send that web page out. When you Edit test you will see the Web Page tab to add the url.

Backup the DB Move it to the new server Restore the DB via Orion DB Mgr or SQL Ent. Mgr. Run the Config. Wizard Point Orion to that DB- Your data and settings will be restored. Mark Wiggans SolarWinds Support

Create a custom property and then use the Account Limitation Builder to limit those views to the specific node. You can start here http://www.solarwinds.com/NetPerfMon/SolarWinds/OrionAGAccountLimitations.htm#10001430

I'm suspecting that the problem may be with the .net framework which w2k3 installed with latest update- try removing the 3.0 .net framework- or might I encourage you to upgrade to 8.1? soon to be 8.5 :-)

That is just for licensing purposes only.
