When adding a rule- there is a "Suspend further Alert Actions for" check box under the Trigger Threshold Tab. This may get you what you need. You may also attempt the suggestions from this post.

Can I view and use custom grouping properties for interfaces in System Manager? Yes, this is possible. You should see the CP after refreshing the NODE tree.

Are 64 bit counters checked? ( in the node details of that device in the System Manager)

Go to C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion and delete the file called MapMaker.Toolbars. Now when you open Map Maker a new toolbar file will be created (MapMaker.Toolbars) and the tool bar should reappear.

How do you add new sounds? Thanks You can add sounds to this folder C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\NetPerfMon\Sounds and when you configure an alert which triggers a sound the list of sounds to choose from will be in the drop down box-

You would create the seed file with the IPs of the nodes you want to add. Run the Discovery; choose to use a new discovery db. Choose to use a seed file. Run the discovery, and import those new nodes and resources.
