steps: Go to C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion and delete the file called MapMaker.Toolbars. Now when you open Map Maker a new toolbar file will be created (MapMaker.Toolbars) and the tool bar should reappear.

That is correct. If you want to receive alerts for syslog messages you will need to use the syslog viewer program. Once you start up the program, click on the Alerts/Filter rules and click the add new rule button. From there the setup is basically the same as configuring a basic alert.

The SCP is only delivered via "Live Remotely Proctored". You get to select the date and time during the registration process.

I don’t believe there is a way to monitor mounted volumes over SNMP. From what I can see, the only service that will provide this information is WMI.
