It seems like you are completing the correct steps, maybe try changing the date or using the last 10 option to see if it purges- The purge should be instant after hitting Purge then Done. I cannot think of why this would not instantly purge. You can also open a ticket and have a tech look at this.

Try pasting that URL into a browser. Below is the contents of that page. I hope this helps... Scheduling Reports Orion NPM provides a scheduling tool to schedule report emails and printouts. To schedule a report: 1. Click Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Alerting, Reporting, and Mapping > Orion Report Scheduler.…

When the blank box appears just type in the name. Here is a walk through for setting up an interface alert. www.solarwinds.com/.../OrionAdvancedAlerts.html

for reference in the upper right corner under Libraries & Support- you can locate all the docs.

Eric- In response to your issue:Error Opening MainTaskDataReader Timeout expired If you go to C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion> an look for SWNetPerfMon.DB. Open it (you might need to use notepad to open it) then scroll down to the bottom an edit the following: Connection timeout in seconds Timeout==20 Database Command…

Something is not setup correctly on the system. What OS are you evaluating with? "an not open connection [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied"- If you are using SQL Express locally the TCP pipe may not be open since this is closed by default. Verify that this is open. Also…

If you have current maintenance you will be able to download it from your customer portal.....when it is released.
-
What symptoms do you have with the Website if any? What is the size of the DB?I believe that version used the MSDE version. That is a really old version you have- could it possibly be this- support.solarwinds.com/.../ProblemDetail.cfm ?
-
Verify that you have SA permissions on the SQL server and try to create the database using the SA account.
-
The key besides having the oracle client installed on the Orion server, is the service name, That really should be labeled the tnsnames identifier for oracle.
-
there are some more troubleshooting suggestions here-

Hello achrich - I just sent you a PM-
-
oops wrong thread- http://www.thwack.com
-
Yes- this will be included with 8.5- Until then you can open a ticket to get the fix- This is not one of the existing hotfixes but one that addresses the time it takes to load up large node lists-
-
hmm.... you might try InterfaceName

At the very bottom of the web page does it say SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor 8.5.1 SP3? I'm not sure when you downloaded so you may not have SP3 installed which addresses this issue. This Service Pack 3 includes a new web resource named "All Nodes - Tree (AJAX)". This is an incrementally loaded version of…
-
What about Service Pack 3? Many account limitation issues were addressed in this rollup. Also, by chance do you have any Custom Poller Alerts that are triggered? and are you using APM?
-
Jim- Did you ever get this to work for you? Did you include the server name in the URL?
-
To clarify, I would recommend repairing Orion, and not the Application Performance Monitor. Afterwards, re-apply it's service pack. You might also try Josh's suggestion prior to doing this.
-
Verify which Engine ID is reflected versus the one in the DB- see the details for Reassigning Nodes on page 3- www.solarwinds.com/.../OrionServerMigration.pdf
-
CustomPollerStatistics will be populated IF the custom poller is set up as a historical poller. The CustomPollerStatistics view contains the delta in the Total column and the averages in the AvgRate column. These are calculated when written to the DB.

JMP- I would suggest contacting Sales and they could assist you- 866-530-8100

If you know the OID you want to monitor (for example, by copying it from the Dell site), you can use it with UnDP. Just paste it into the OID field. You don't have to wait for us to add the latest version of that mib.

Gaps in data can be a vexing issue. Here are a couple things to check to make sure you are actually missing data: For a section of time, 4 or 5 hours, choose several different graphs to look at. For each one maximize the level of detail to where all you see are individual data points. Confirm that there are areas where…
