@"stuartd" Yes, planning to upgrade to NPM 2025.2 soon. Thanks for the insights.

@"stuartd" Thanks for the response! We currently have only NPM(2024.2) On-Prem with SLX. We have 5 polling engines and dont want to exceed 90% of the interface per polling engine guidelines. We also have 6000 nodes apart from the Meraki. The license issues comes when we exceed 90% on all the polling engines, we would have…

Hey, I am running 11.5.2, does the alert set up work for hung servers as expected? Malcolm.

The states we have are as below: Assigned - when a new ticket is created Resolved - when it in closing state Closed - Post 7 days of resolved state it automatically moves to closed. What i am looking for is not a two way requirement, i only need to create tickets from my Solarwinds and not close them when the alert is…

adatole I am in the middle of trying to monitor hung state for servers, I tried your query for this and I got an alert for all the servers In my environment, regardless of them being hung or not. I also tried adding a secondary condition to have this alert for a specific number of nodes and I see that the alert is…

d09h looks like we are missing HF 6 for Platform 2015.1.2, and there is a known error for network discoveries not completed, hence I am unable to go on with the way you proposed. Is there any other way I can have this done for now? Thanks, Malcolm Shervyn.

Hello, If by alert you mean trigger an alert, you could create three SAM applications for the same service and assign the three nodes to each of the application. You can then create an alert with a trigger condition that would trigger an alert if all the three applications/components are down using an AND statement. It…

bman6074 I guess the below should work. Let me know how that goes Malcolm.

pratikmehta003 Pratik, Solarwinds would monitor any device which responds to ICMP, for availability, and any device that responds to SNMP, for stats collection, regardless of the product. The below link says, they do not have a list List of Supported Devices - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Regards, Malcolm.

Hello, You can try this, add the sysUptime OID in UnDP and monitor it for the group of devices you want, you can further take a report of the UnDP and filter for the ones with time less than 30 days. Not sure how far this would work, scanning system Uptime would be the best guess. Thanks, Malcolm.
