No new updates on IPv6. You can get an idea of what we're working on for the next release here.

Kimberly, I would open a support ticket and reference this thwack thread. Not sure why you're getting the wrong IP in the alert message. BTW, thanks sedmo for jumping on this one! -Craig

MrSampsonite, If you're doing an eval then you should have a sales engineer assigned to you that can assist. I'll contact offline to make sure you get in touch with the right folks. -Craig

Thanks, dwoolley! Another good data point when we start nailing down the requirements. -Craig

hassane777, Orion IP SLA Manager will generate a synthetic DNS request from a source device to a DNS server. The purpose of this operation is to measure round trip time for a DNS request to your DNS server. In other words, you would use this operation to ensure your DNS server is operational and performing as expected.…

Thanks for the feedback, WBSykes... I've logged this as a feature request.

Although we name subnets using an IP/CIDR syntax, any MSFT scopes we pull will use the display name used on the DHCP server. HTH, Craig
-
Glad to hear it!
-
wwiley- Thanks for the feedback. As Chris mentioned, we've had several requests to add the ability to turn this off in the config. We've logged the request and will consider it for a future release. -Craig
-
I would go ahead and open a support ticket and reference this thwack post. -Craig

The next version of APM that will be released in the near future (we're currently in the Release Candidate phase) supports AD integration. If you're a current customer and your maintenance is up to date send your SWID to craig.mcdonald@solarwinds.com and I can get you set up with the RC. HTH, Craig

We're tracking this as a feature request (269972). -Craig
-
I confirmed with the team, ipMonitor has been doing it like that forever. The bandwidth monitor’s Last Result value will report the transfer in GB and whatever is left over in MB instead of using decimals.

jcooler, Unfortunately, the UI currently only allows for single selection. We know this is something we need to change. -Craig
-
Donald, we are in absolute agreement. We have plenty of opportunities to make this experience much better in IPAM. -Craig
-
Unfortunately, the NPM setting isn't applied to IPAM. We are actually already tracking this as a feature request. -Craig
-
Orion NPM will give you these graphs. HTH, Craig
-
As bshopp mentioned, you can filter the subnets in the Top 10 resource with SQL. Adding the '% IP Space Used' to a report is easier; you can create a report in Report Writer with this field added to the report. HTH, Craig

This is great... thanks, slinky103! Just one more question to make sure I understand your original request... you want to create and monitor IP SLA operations between blue and red nodes, is that correct?

Sorry to hear the Netflow tool in Toolset isn't living up to your expectations; however, the tool wasn't designed to be able to manage this many interfaces. It doesn't really have a hard cap in terms of the number of interfaces it can manage using Netflow, but you're going to start seeing issues when trying to manage any…

Unless Greg has another suggestion, I'm unaware of another way to do this, other than running another WAN Killer from where the 3750 is located.
-
ipc, Go ahead and open a support ticket on this one and reference this thwack post. -Craig
-
Thanks! We will take a look... -Craig
-
Roger, We just posted a new template for this on thwack, and it works with 2010. HTH, Craig
-
Please open a support ticket so we can take a closer look.

What's your use case, and to which specific fields would you want to apply this operator? -Craig
-
Are you still experiencing issues? If so, a couple of suggestions: * You can restart the service with the Orion Service Manager. If you haven't used this before, it's installed under the Start Menu under SolarWinds Orion on the server where yo have WPM installed. * If that doesn't work, at this point I would recommend…

DM your case number and I can check for you. -Craig

jp, sorry to hear all the hoops you're going through. We'll take a look at the SOAP interface and see what needs to be fixed.

Questionario, I've actually been working with Support and Engineering on your case; hopefully you have some answers by now. For anyone else interested in the answers to these questions, here you go: 1) It waits based on the job timeout. The default timeout is 20 minutes. 2) The monitor goes through the following steps with…
