The default is G.711 ULAW, but this is configurable in the Admin settings. You can also select the codec you want to use if you create the operation with IP SLA Manager; it's a drop-down under the Advanced settings. HTH, Craig

Can you post a screenshot? -Craig

Koreets, Could you elaborate on how you would use this? Specifically, in your example, would you ever need to set different source IP's for different operations on the same node? Thanks!

The Brazilian Portuguese version is actually a different build. You can get it here.

Impaler The Alcatel question has come up on another thread, so I want to provide a little more detail. Although we only support Cisco's CallManager and CallManager Express as actual CallManager nodes, you can still monitor Alcatel devices in IP SLA Manager. Call managers from other manufacturers other than Cisco can be…

wilhelmll, Which version of the Toolset are you running? I just successfully downloaded the running config from a 3750 with no error. I'm running 10.5. Also, have you verified your credentials are correct? HTH, Craig

byrona- It sounds like you need to suppress alerts 2 and 4, using alert 5 as the condition for suppression. Have you tried adding suppression conditions for alerts 2 and 4?

It's coming. :-) See my post here. HTH, Craig

You can monitor Avaya devices using the Universal Device Poller. -Craig

Hi wcrain, This is expected behavior. The command line switches for connecting to a machine emulate filling out the same fields in the MRC connection dialog GUI. Once you hit connect (or execute the CL switches) you're still going to hit the login screen for the machine you're connecting to if you don't already have an…

Which version of SQL are you using for your Orion database, and what types of health indicators are you looking for? APM ships with several different SQL monitors, but it would be helpful to know exactly what you're trying to do. -Craig

It is possible to have multiple, simultaneous MRC connections to a single machine. This knowledge base article details how to do that. It is also possible to make an unattended connection (end user doesn't have to accept). This is configured in the client agent settings. Hope this helps. -Craig

I would recommend opening a support ticket. They should be able to assist.

dihris, Could you specify exactly what you're trying to do? WPM supports the ability to record things like filling out and submitting a web form. -Craig

Thanks for the feedback. We have been looking at better ways to manage large numbers of 'things' in Orion, like IP SLA operations, or subnets and IPs. We hear you. -Craig

Hi Vijay, Sounds like your question is about SAM; this is the ipMonitor forum. I would suggest posting your question in the SAM forums. -Craig

GonzoUK, I'm a little confused. If you're not managing devices at your remote site through Orion, then you shouldn't be able to alert off of them. One suggestion for monitoring connectivity with your remote site is the IP SLA Monitor free tool. You can create an IP SLA test using one of your managed nodes as the source,…

Hello, 6.8.0.1 is no longer a supported version. Have you tried installing the latest version on a different machine to see if the problem still exists? -Craig

This is really just an issue with the Wizard for 'Monitoring Existing Operations.' As long as you enter the correct operation number, the statistics you're seeing are correct even though target IP you entered may not be. We are addressing this in the next release. We're redoing the Wizard so that it makes more sense in the…

Thanks for the feedback, John. We are evaluating what we can do in terms of data preservation when moving from an old template to a new one. I will let you know what we come up with. -Craig

You should be able to configure this on each individual account. Under Admin, you can edit certain settings for each account, and one of these settings is enabling Alert Sounds. HTH, Craig

Item 1 What would you like to see in terms of scheduling capabilities? In other words, what's your use case around schedule operations? Item 2 Could you give me a specific example of how you would use TAGs? Also, why is it important to set the OWNER field for yoU? Item 3 You should be able to configure alerts like this in…

peteman, Please open a support ticket and reference this thwack post. -Craig

It is possible to disable and enable monitors around scheduled maintenance windows, but this is a configuration setting and is not handled via scripting. Could you elaborate on the use case you'd like supported and the reasons for wanting to use a script to disable/enable monitors? -Craig

Have you tried exporting to a .csv, then opening the .csv in XL? This should work, and exporting to a .csv is going to be much faster. HTH, Craig

Depends on exactly what you're trying to do, but the general answer is yes through the 'Shares View.' The DameWare Remote Support Shares view allows you to view, create, delete, and modify shares on a remote system. Use the tree view on the left to browse files and folders on the remote system. Use the mini toolbar on the…

Sorry for the delayed reply. This is a known issue that should be fixed in a future release. -Craig

jam7ra, Please open a ticket with support. They should be able to fix you up. -Craig

Sorry for the delayed reply; I wanted to make sure we closed the loop on this with you. This doesn't sound like a bug. It sounds more like a bad WMI connection to the client system, the cause typically being the necessary ruleset(s) hasn't been enabled on Windows Firewall. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've logged this as a feature request. -Craig
