We are using the latest version 3.1 which was released at the end of December. This is one of the additions they added. It is confusing that they would consider the node "down" if one failed attempt is found within the last poll where I am utilizing it for intrusion attempts on servers.

Yes, this could be done but we have the numerous units/models from the same manufacture and the threshold temp varys between them, some could be 30 degrees from the lowest ones. They all use the manufactures default SNMP variables plus whatever may be a little different between units. It would be very helpful to do this. I…

I agree, I would love to see something such as this. It gets to be painful having to reboot a server just because it take 30 minutes for windows just to even react to a logon session through rdp or even computer manager from a remote system. Especially painful when no event logs indicate anything out of the ordinary.

Ok now I am getting it. Can file age monitor monitor just an extension of files? We just need to make sure this folder is getting processed by its application. There is no time when a filename will come in with the same name.

This has been figured out! The Alerting service was running under the Local System account. I created an admin account for it and it executed flawlessly. I just was not getting any logs indicating what the issue may be. It is fixed now.
