sounds like, to me, that you want to go into the alerts you have active & remove the "NetPerfMon event log" from trigger/reset actions. this will keep it from throwing thep up on the events list. BUT I would be sure to have some way of re-creating them if you zap one too many

oh yes... that's where the annoyance came from. I've used it before. we're good and the public safety is assured

Brent, I just looked at the APC page you have on line. You're several firmware updates behind. Again, been there, done that. The new interface is smoother, more complete and HTML to boot. The only caviat is that when bringing forward the management cards, it took as many as three attempts. With no pattern reguarding which…

Thanks. I make light of the problem, but two of the servers that are problem childern run sheriff connunications and emergency dispatch. As you might suppose, they are demanding customers...with reason

I use one from the local CBS affiliate. not the detail on NOAA, but the graphics work. also less load time than the government one. In my experiance, when the weather gets heavy, too many users kills the refresh

While that time on battery MIB yields results, variance in load and battery age result in a wide range of run time. In the interest of accuracy,…

Fought this battle not too long ago. Near as I can tell, that MIB works on older units. I finally had success with 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.3.2.1 Also, watch your poll time. The system standard is too long to react to any intermittant loss. That MIB is current line voltage, need to set-up to alert when voltage is below 117 or…

I use local TV radar for a background. It gives the extra of instant weather reference. The method's on thwack, I forget where. Just locate an appropriate URL and it's done

pardon me if this is simplistic, but after you have a valid .ini file installed, couldn't you access the proper html: 172.33.21.18/.../genini.htm is the apc page and shoot it a <CR>? apply is the default. No reflection on SolarWinds, I love the product, But I don't monitor my smart-UPS any more. They will report themselves…
