Wireless_AccessPoints is the table you are looking by the looks. Fields in there matching above: IPAddress Name Status
-
indeed you do heres the full trap alert we are using...
-
Hi there you can set the alert up like this and it would alert you. using the above - using groups for each site you have. If you have access to monitor their interfaces (depends how they have ben set up) you could perhaps use them to monitor both at the same time.
-
I use the alerts now more than the events, we used to use those extensively at one time but use a dashboard on a large screen with a maps on. But i think customisable colours would be nice for different categories of alerts and maybe more flexibility with them. We do use them for basic up/down and custom pollers and…

Oh by the way, the vulnerability comes from an external source which you can add and remove sources
-
is this what you are referring to? Vulnerabilities for servers and switches etc? A list ?
-
hi as someone has already said are they using the correct format for logging in? domain\username ? how about them trying from the web page on the server ?
-
ok cool, you should be able to use groups to group the speeds and then count or sum ?
-
Is this what you are looking for? Mine was a standard report and seems to show speeds etc
-
The reports have custom properties in them, you just need to go down the list and it is there...you can do section breaks in the reports as well so you should be able to pull groups etc together.
-
Try running the config wizard, it should help you sort the issue out, the database could be ok run the wizard. Ohh by the way, check all the services are up and running as well before you do
-
Same issue - initially wondered if it was something to do with no traffic but doubt that is the case as another since has shown and there is no traffic! So i'm now wondering if its MIBs

We was having a problem where, when editing a map, and trying to save the map - Network Atlas crashed, we was given a fix for this (an SQL script for unlocking some tables) which I can post if you think it could be useful. Apart from that Network Atlas is in the 'uninstall or change a program' section of the control panel…

Outlook calender, a poke from the service desk and slack alerts are us

I'm having to import/copy them using a script from the wireless tables to a node and add the custom properties I wanted to add, at least this way they are pinged to make sure they are up and have visibility. they are added to our maps as well from there to build a building by building picture.
-
Are you changing polling method as well to ICMP? obviously needs considering and maybe testing one first to see if it works. you could try an update to the IP address through SQL similar to this: Change the node IP address and caption - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support You could create a spreadsheet with the old…
-
and in the properties are they showing the right association with the right node?
-
Are they also greyed out ? If the node ID has changed with redoing your server update? if so you will need to re-associate the old node properties with the new (which should be down the left side in Atlas ?

I'm having web page issues to do with the NET framework cache plus maybe others.,. Case # - 00123581 plus getting ...

I've had to clear the \Temporary ASP.NET Files\root a few times now since the upgrade. Also had (once so far) a web page error, which if it occurs again I will report to support. But nothing too serious and the upgrade went smooth and very happy.
-
My apologies 12 <- we did some time ago and 12.1 soon
-
Likewise we upgraded about 3 months ago and everything is green The interface change takes a little to get used to but you soon find your way around.
-
Hi there, several things you can do - settings - manage hardware sensors allows you to change settings there... 1/ 2/ you can create and set custom pollers through settings - custom poller thresholds which you can then alert on 3/ You can set the severity of the alert (if the alert exists) to which level you think it…
-
You are very welcome
-
also you can do this, ive got this set up for 3750's and 3850's but could be any device really
-
Ive used this in a report which gives me the entity - the key being the class (3) for the serial numbers This should give you the report. SELECT OrionNodes.Caption, OrionNodes.DetailsUrl, OrionNodes.Status, OrionNodes.ChildStatus, NcmEntityPhysical.EntityName, OrionNodes.IP_Address, NcmEntityPhysical.EntityDescription,…
-
On the additional poller, which copies from the primary, so the primary is up and running and everything working.
-
Hi from the customer portal there will be a download available to pull (suck the components from your main poller) the mirror image of your main poller which makes it easy to do which im just doing at the moment.
-
Hi there Are you using network atlas on the server where Orion is installed or the client ? If its on a client, what happens if you update it from within the server as Network Atlas should be installed there ? It pulls the data from the database so when you save it - should save back again, I presume you have saved the map…

Bindings in IIS on the solarwinds server - will help you bind the site to HTTP or HTTPS
