I agree... a problem starts its lifecycle as a single event until it is identified to be a trending issue.

I've been rather underwhelmed with the quality of feature request updates in 2022. Very quiet with little functionality changes.

Agreed... I want to see my change list and sort by start date and time. If I want to drill down on changes on a particular day I can sort the list based on time.

Thanks @"joeybrown" The way I see it working due to the many different software versions you could have a parent 'Software' CI and links all versions within it. E.g Microsoft Edge (Parent CI) links to all versions. e.g 95.0.1020.40 Not sure you'd want a CI per version, you'd end up with thousands of unnecessary CIs

Do I need to rephase the question? Software titles collected from the desktop agent and now live within the Assets area, how can these be converted to be Configuration Items within the CMDB?

It's a custom field, but when creating a new change catalog item I'm unable to select this custom field within the main area of the change, I can only select this custom field under 'Process Fields'
