Anyone using Ruckus are you getting similar data as below: Client names and IP Addresses not in the correct format, any ideas on how to resolve? Thanks.

Thanks Rob, I have just sent the walks for each AP type we have in our estate.

Fantastic, Thanks.

With regard to the mibs I walked the two devices in question: lee@002153-IT-PC:~$ snmpwalk -v2c -c xxxxxxxxx 10.x.x.x |grep -i sensor SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.47.1.1.1.1.2.9 = STRING: "Chassis Temperature Sensor" SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.47.1.1.1.1.2.15 = STRING: "Power Supply Fan Sensor" SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.47.1.1.1.1.2.18 = STRING:…

Ok thank you, I will walk the devices in question before making the change as two of our 4 4506's do report the hardware health. I'll feed back tomorrow. Really appreciate your assistance.

Looks like they are stored in: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NCM\Jobs\ files are Job-XXXXX (where XXXXX is the number) they are the log files I am hoping that the job numbers/file names don't change, I can't imagine they do as I have historical data in the files, but I will be able to confirm on Monday.

Ok, Thanks for the tip, I'll have to see if there is anyway to automate that as I'm not doing that everyday!!

No need to apologise. Not previously as our server crashed and this is fresh build with the latest updates, we hadn't been able to update to the latest version before then so Hardware health is new feature that I want to take advantage of. The switch in question is a 4506: cisco WS-C4506 (MPC8245) processor (revision 4) sh…

I see. Unfortunately I have no experience with this product & we don't own it, so can't offer any more advice, sorry. Hope you get it sorted, seems odd for sure.

Thanks, I've tried both of those and the Hardware Health isn't under list resources or via rediscover, when you say rediscover entirely do you mean to delete the node and re-add it? Intrestingly they are running the same IOS: 15.0(2)SG, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc4) and are the same model switch but have different supervisor…

I was about to post this very question and I don't want to roll back to 7.1 Is there a chance you would be willing to share how to do that? We export ARP/MAC/switchport status for processing into an oracle apex app and obviously this no longer works.

Our summary page is quite simple really: Other views are tailored to specific needs but at a glance this is enough...for now. Since I have had some time today, I got a bit more inspired and ended up with this now:
-
I'd probably use credential sets, and only discover the switches in one hit, then the routers using the two different snmpv3 credential sets.
-
No worries, happy to help!

Hi, I have had this today only for traps, not a fix but a work around if you need to do it immediately, Here's what I did, rather than using the Database Management tool I logged onto the database server and used SQL Server Management Studio: First verify how many records you are going to delete (obviously substitute…
