Congrats euang !!

OMG! You guys crack me up with all your complaining because you missed a question! Just because it says "chose ALL that apply" doesn't mean that ALL of the answers are correct. You're focusing on the "ALL" instead of the "that apply". Guess what? When you go take a certification test, Cisco, Microsoft, etc, does the same…

Dang It!

I have one more but it's something a Helpdesk tech was telling the end users. While working as the Desktop Supervisor, I was told over and over by our users that when they called the Helpdesk with a problem they were told to turn their computer off, wait 30 minutes or wait 20 mins, etc, and then turn it back on and if it…

Since I'm the F-N-G to networking my goal this year is to get my CCNA. I have the first test scheduled for Feb 16th...Keeping my fingers crossed!

Coming from California earthquakes are the norm and something you always think about when setting up any office thanks to Cal-OSHA. Since these pictures are from Japan, which seems to have more earthquakes than California, why were these racks not secured to something besides the floating tiles on the floor????…

Bwahahaha....I haven't ever seen the Mouse Balls email but I'm going to share today with my techs from back in the day. Thanks!
-
hahaha....this had me ROTFLMAO!!!!
-
I think I saw this when it first came out and is has been an all time classic with my IT folks! Hysterical!
-
I hope I never get close enough to either one to tell them apart.
-
I think my greatest IT fear is that the Helpdesk would actually hire 13 new hires that actually don't know anything about IT. How can I complain about them if they actually don't know ANYTHING about IT????? LOL!
-
A great video is always welcome. It gives us something to laugh at and enjoy for a short while....then back to work. We are really the only ones that care about IT Day.

And they wonder why we drink!!!

I just love it, yes that is sarcasm, when non-technical users get a virus and the first thing out of their mouths is "I thought you were in charge of the firewall!" Ugggggg.......
-
I can't get past the hottie McGarrett to notice the computer table.
-
I have the same problem. I always seem to screw up one question during the month and miss out on the grand prize! Uggggg......
-
Doh! Is not the word I use! hahahahahaha!

Many years ago I had a user put in a helpdesk ticket because her PS2 mouse was having problems and needed it replaced. When I called her back and asked what problems she was having with her mouse she replied, "Well, I was cleaning the mouse and took the ball out and it no longer bounces...so I'm afraid it's going to stop…

That is why I hate HOAs!

You have a great idea there!!! I say pitch it to Costco and you'll never have to work again!

Obviously I'm making the migration harder than it should be ...or maybe I'm a little scared to do it since I'm so used to ACS. Thanks again for the info rschroeder!
-
Thanks rschroeder for the info. We still haven't migrated to ISE yet but will keep your configuration for TACACS when we do!

I joined Thwack about 3 weeks after I joined the WAN team. I try to log in as much as possible. I love looking through Thwack it has lots of great information and makes me laugh all at the same time. Love it!

when I open the chat in a new window here is the link that shows - Don't Hate Your Monitoring - (sorry it reverts to the chat name I'm on).
-
We are "preparing" to do the migration from ACS 5.7 to ISE 2.1 since it now has TACACS but what we are finding is that the migration is not that simple. While at CISCO live last year I attended a couple of the ISE breakout sessions and in each one they said that they had teams that would help us do the migration. After…
-
We are using ACS 5.7 right now and had put off migrating over to ISE because TACACS wasn't supported. But it has now been released and we have just purchased the license for it. Guess I know what I'll be doing for the next month.....going over documentation. Yuck!
