  • What does the error log say? I had a similar problem 3 weeks back and the error was along the lines of 'unable to connect to mail engine'. The problem was that our security team had rolled out a virus def update which blocked all emails going from this Server!
  • I had a similar issue but it was only because we use a custom jpeg for the banner (i.e. overwriting the solarwinds logo in C:\Inetpub\Solarwinds...etc). Whenever the home page came up I had to enter the admin password for the Server. It was because when I copied the custom jpeg it hadn't inherited the correct rights, i.e.…
