Also under search NCM it would be nice if it was case sensitive.

Yeah I don't understand how anyone would cast a nay vote. It just doesn't make any logical sense. Information is information and can be useful in situations we aren't even aware of yet. There is current situation I have where I suspect ICMP might be de-prioritized by a provider in Uruguay, the only way to verify that in my…

To verify I would try to change an interface description via the script execution module and SNMP (if you have NCM). If it doesn't work you know it's the SNMP configs on device. Pretty sure you can do this with Engineers Toolkit too if you have that.

I know this is 2 years later but I have the exact same issue as you. Did you get it figured out? I'm starting to think NTM relies on it's host machine for SNMPv3 and mine is Windows Server 2016 which doesn't have native SNMPv3 support. I figure NTM could craft the SNMPv3 itself but maybe not?

Roger that. Posted there. Feel free to delete this one.

Yeah well aware of that. That's the page I'm referring to. Features I would like is to search for devices that do not contain search words, and also to be able to select devices from there and pivot them over to the script execution page so I can execute scripts on them to basically add something.

Think you mean UDP no?

On an individual node basis there seems to be a "route neighbor" and "route table" poll interval that can be overridden from default values. I will try that.
-
BTW, I know each individual node has a network tab that shows next hops, but I want an aggregated nodes page. Possible?

Thanks for the reply Mark. Unfortunately I'm not a coder. What is the default polling depending on in terms of time? And can I at least set it to poll/query for this information more often? Say every 30 minutes or hour?
-
Don't know anything about diving into query modifications, but I'll see what I can do. Is there an ability to have a tab on a view that shows this information for many selected sites? A tab where I can click on and it will show specified sites and the next hop for specific destinations?

For anyone else that might see this, it was much easier to use the dynamic query option and associated drop downs in order to get the report I wanted as compared to writing my own query requests. I actually downloaded the SWQL SDK and started testing queries and it crashed our Solarwinds server.
